Hello and welcome to my NCL guide! This is my first guide, so bear with me, there may be mistakes here and there. If you are a Lions for Noobies clan member looking at this guide, it is best if you take a look at our discord! Cheetah_beat has a guide there specifically for all you new people. ---- Intro NCL stands for Newly Claimed Lioness. They are found in Explore, or you can buy them off the Trading Center from other players! In May, you can get lionesses called Groupies from V'Kai! According to the Lioden Wiki, "Groupies are randomly-generated lions that can come with special bases, mutations, and markings (they will always come with two markings randomly placed in slots 1 to 10). All groupies are heritageless, meaning they have no heritage whatsoever, similar to Newly Claimed Lionesses." For more information, follow the Brotherhood of Zeal storyline! If you are looking for heritageless lions, this is the best way to go besides NCLs. ---- Regular NCLs Regular NCLs can be found by any player at any different impression level. From personal experience, I always click leave. This is because I am not a fan of regular NCLs and do not want them in my pride. Exceptions are Mobola based and Asali based lionesses, or any NCL exclusive base. I highly recommend them for newer players, as they are useful for hunting and breeding. Special based lionesses can only be found at Dreamboat impression. They can pass on their base to their cubs, but at least one parent must have the base. Maziwa lionesses are personally my favorite, but it all depends on your type of lion. Examples of Regular NCLs are down below. NCLS DO NOT COME WITH CUBS. These images are from my side account. ---- Chased NCLs Chased NCLs are lionesses that have been chased by other players. They are most commonly found by Dreamboats, and the best luck you will have by getting them are Leopard Orchids, which can be found in Treasure Hunting during January and Tier Two in the Flirt Shop during Feburary!* I myself have collected a fair amount of these during my time on Lioden. If you are lucky, you can claim a chased lioness without Leopard Orchids! This is personally not recommended, as those with good or evil personalities are most likely to slap you and leave. Examples of chased lionesses are shown below (these are from both my main and my side account). ---- Weekly Raffle Lioness I personally have never won the weekly raffle so correct me if I'm wrong. These lionesses have no heritage and are highly prized by the Lioden community. RLC stands for Raffle Lioness Clone, and NRLC stands for Near Raffle Lioness Clone. ---- Repelling and Attraction NCLs This is a bit of a touchy topic for me as I have low experience in repelling and attracting NCLs. However, I do know what items you need to repel and attract these gals. Catnip is used to attract lionesses, and Hyena Butter temporarily repels them for 30 minutes. Hyena Butters are highly recommended in February, as you do not come across NCLs as much as you normally would, giving you time to explore as much as you can and grinding Heart Shells! ---- CRB Lionesses CRBs are Cotton Root Barks, and are sold in the Oasis* for 1 GB each. They can be found on all lionesses, basic or chased, but they can be found easier by those with Dreamboat impression. Cotton Root Barks induce a miscarriage on a lioness, and the lioness will go back into heat in three rollovers, with a chance to get a lethal mutation, or any mutation at all. *(Will add more if there are more shops that sell Cotton Root Barks) ---- If I missed anything please let me know, and I will edit this to include the information! Anyways, Lionstar out! 1 player likes this post! Like? Edited on 12/02/24 @ 12:12:15 by Lionstar [G3 Patches Charred] (#433734) |

Nice guide :3 Maybe you could include a small bit about the bases that only NCLs have? (e.g. Maziwa, Mobola etc) 0 players like this post! Like? |

NCLs that are chased can have rosettes! I would look in the Lioden Wiki for more information. 0 players like this post! Like? |

If you claim an NCL that has a CRB, then once you claim the lioness, it will show "This lioness has had a Cotton Root Bark used on it!" 0 players like this post! Like? |
