they made it to the lunchroom, there was a stack of trays at the end of the line, which there weren't many people in "grab a tray and get yourself some food, then we can go sit down with zuri" zero said, he grabbed himself some food and walked off

mawce looked at the food before he walked over to grab a tray, hes never seen any food like that before. he was so used to eating only raw meat. he grabbed a tray and went through grabbing a few different things to try before going to find zero

zero waved over at mawce to let him know where zuri and him were sitting, zuri rolled his eyes

mawce quickly walked over to them and sat next to zero setting his food in front of him, he didnt know what to try first so he grabbed a random piece of meat and ripped it so i could fit in his muzzle. he lifted his head straight up and dropped the meat through the muzzle and into his mouth and his eyes go wide at the taste, it was so... strange.. yet so good

zuri had already finished the food he got by the time mawce showed up so he just left

zero was staring at mawce, munching down on a sandwich he got

zero finished his sandwich, he was tempted to take mawce's muzzle off so it would be easier for him to eat, but finally chose against it "once you're done with your food ill make you some tea" he said

zero chuckled and got up from the table, throwing away his tray and going down the hallway towards the common area, boiling some water

zero looked over at mawce, not paying attention to the BOILING WATWER and burning himself on accident, he set down the water, and held his burnt hand

zero sighed and just picked up the water again, (with his other hand) actually PAYING ATTENTION this time, he poured water in 2 mugs and put tea bags in them
