Simple idea stemming from a discussion in the chat box.

The market for special bases has plummeted. I thought, perhaps the celestial stone (murder stone) in July could be adjusted to offer higher rewards for special / rare / uncommon base lions (and potentially muties?) It could just be a slight adjustment, such as +1 impression / +5 energy, but it might help stabilize the market for special bases somewhat. Potentially muties too.

Thoughts?

I 1000% support adding more incentive to get lions out of the system.

For those commenting, here's the table for rewards:

All rewards below are in addition to the above base rewards.

I would suggest the following:
Rare Base (Breed-Only Rares): +5 Energy; +10 SB; +2% Impression; +2% EXP
Special Base (Combo or Raffle): +15 Energy; +50 SB; +5% Impression; +4% EXP
Special Base (Applicator): +10 Energy; +35 SB; +4% Impression; +3% EXP
Mutie (Any AMP): +10 Energy; +25 SB; +5% Impression; +2.5% EXP
Mutie (Any Primal, Patches or Piebald): +15 Energy; +50 SB; +8% Impression; +4% EXP

And I really doubt anyone is gunna do these, but just in case:
Any Dwarf: +50 Energy; +100 SB; +50% Impression; +6% EXP
Any Hybrid: +100 Energy; +250 SB; +100% Impression; +12% EXP

Please feel free to critique the rewards and give input on balancing them, but just keep in mind that going too low will result in less incentive to get rid of these lions, which is the point of the suggestion. Going too high, however, is also not helpful because it would unfairly advantage people with more assets to give away. Ie, giving 100% or 200% EXP is simply too much. Nothing should give an instant-level to any lion.

+100 energy or impression wouldn’t work as then it would be 130% energy 🤣

But for the most part I think that’s a pretty good breakdown. I’d suggest for the sake of ease on the system that it should be a flat rate for all rare and special bases (doubt anyone would be selling off a combo anyway) and it’s balanced enough that it’s not too OP. The best reward is +15 energy for pies which equates to around 300sb in value based on energy boosts so I’d say that’s very fair while getting rid of some of them rather than having people selling them for less and less.

It would be, but I think over-writing it with a free full energy bar is fine, if players are informed of the new rates via the updated table. Otherwise, you could have it shove a free energy boost at players ig, lmao.

I thought about the flat rate, but considering how obnoxiously hard certain combos can be to breed, and how raffle bases take more effort, I'm not too certain. I feel like anyone chucking combo bases or raffle bases into the tree is simply fed up with trying to sell it.

I feel like we won't see very many people using it for non-amps and raffle / combo bases, but never hurts to have it set up just in case. I hope LD starts putting some focus on culling incentives next year.

That’s probably the case on combo and raffle bases. But it’s probably a lot harder for the devs to calculate that than a simple special / rare check etc and the over saturation in the market is more relevant to non combo bases I’d imagine. But if the devs could implement it, even better.

I assume you meant special combo/raffle bases not rare though?

Definitely agree culling incentives are useful. The enclave is good as it means all cubs are worth at least 20sb really which is a good start

Hard to say. I'm sure there's something raffle n combo bases are flagged as on the backend, but so long as it functions that's the important part. Yea combo and raffle. i forgor they were classified as special 💀 lemme fix that in the write-up thank you. good catch.
