You need to have less than 60% hunger for it to work! 0-59% will let it work!

The text says "Doubled energy regeneration only works if your leader is at 59% hunger or lower."

Its poorly worded, but does mean less than 59%, so 58, 57, 56 etc.

It doesnt matter if your hunger hits 0%, it will still work.

When you find a carcass it takes you down some hunger.

If you king as it 50% and you eat a carcass, it will lower your hunger to 35% for example.

I think its both poorly worded and the hunger bar is like back to front on how the percentages work. 0% hunger = 100% hunger filled so its better to hav ea full hunger bar o7

Also, red bulls have to be used on the hour, almost bang on but i think there's a 5 minute window for you to get the full use out of it otherwise you're missing out on some red bull energy time c: Even though its not said in the description

oh! it was less about the percentages, i understand the percentages that it needs to be at. im more so confused about the aspect of him eating a bunch while exploring. is there anyway i can stop him? they gain -12-15 hunger each time they stumble across a carcass, so if i find one more in explore he'll be over the threshold that allows red bull to work.

i wasnt sure if there was a particular strategy to employ to help that

Basically, 0% hunger is good - it means your king isn't hungry, 60-100% hunger is bad and your king needs to eat.
