So we all know that this month [MARCH], the 'Leopard Tail' was introduced to help the passing of rosettes. Therefore, I believe it would be a fun thing for a 'tailless leopard' encounter or two to pop out during both February's and December's event!

FEBRUARY
You pad through some densely-packed vegetation, seeing a small gathering of lionesses and leopardesses flocking around...someone? Intrigued, you decide to take a closer look, padding closer to the group. In the centre was a proud male leopard, soaking in the compliments and giggles that were emitted by the females. Upon closer inspection however, you notice that the leopard's tail is completely missing, with only a small, fluffy tuft in it's place!

RESULTS:
GROWL
Irritated by how a leopard could pull so many leopardesses and lionesses, you emit a growl, sending some lionesses scrambling for the hills, afraid that you might be the one to report them to their king for their infidelity. The leopard glares at you, clearly also annoyed that you scared some of his potential lovers away. However, a you advance menacingly, not wanting a deformed leopard on your territory, he flees, running awkwardly as he barely misses smashing into nearby trees, followed by his flock of followers, leaving a couple of interesting shells in the dust! (+2 HS, +2 karma)

QUERY ABOUT ITS TAIL
You shoulder past the lionesses and leopardesses as you approach him with a broad smile on your face, engaging in friendly chatter with the leopard, ignoring the dirty looks the females are shooting at you. Eventually, you ask about his tail and he animatedly re-enacts a story about how a horde of male lions were about to kill him, however, only managed to snag his tail. After realising this, you quickly make an excuse to high-tail outta there.(+2 HS, +1 karma, +1 awkward thought)

LURE A FEMALE AWAY
Not believing that a leopard could beat your flirting skills, you slowly and seductively approach a lioness. You see a slight blush tinting her cheeks due to how upfront you are. Slowly, you lure her away from the rest of the group and into the forest, where who knows what you two get up to.(+2 HS, +1 flirt point, +1 happy thought)

DECEMBER
You notice a leopard trying to chase after a gazelle, but it keeps on swerving and hitting into trees. Travelling closer to take a better look at the leopard, you notice its tail is missing!

You take pity on the poor, starving leopard and walk up to it in the kindest manner possible as you share some of your food with it. The leopard thanks you graciously for your help, passes you a couple of gifts and begins to tell a long story about how it lost its tail. You wince slightly as you realise your kind had mutilated its tail and you quickly make an excuse to get out of there. (+2 StB, +2 karma)

QUERY ABOUT ITS TAIL
You've never seen a leopard like this, so it's only natural for you to ask. The leopard, however, doesn't find this amusing and snarls, aiming a blow at you before running away. You notice some bugs skittering around in its pawprints. (+2 StB, +1 random scar (low chance))

You snicker at the poor leopard who lost its prey and the leopard looks at you in utter embarrassment as it runs away, head down, tail tucked--tail stump attempting to tuck between its legs. (+2 StB, -2 karma)

(based on 'Invasion of Spots' storyline)
You sigh, paws weary from hours of exploring and settle in a warm, sun-filled dell. Giggles and hushed whispers alerted your senses and the need to keep your pride safe compels you to investigate. After pushing through some ferns, you watch as Mateo circles a lioness from a neighbouring pride, flirting unabashedly with her.

Deciding to give them some privacy, you watch as Mateo seamlessly courted the lioness, their flirtations ending in a swift lovemaking session before the pair quickly scamper away in opposite directions. Huh, perhaps you could learn a thing or two about the art of flirting from Mateo. Now, to do some jaguar hunting and set up a date between him and one of your wives...

GROWL
How DARE a lioness from another pride intrude on your territory?! You rush forward suddenly, scaring the daylights out of the lioness, who seemed to vanish in a blink of an eye and Mateo, who pleaded for mercy and would never do such things again. You watch him escape, feeling a twinge of irritation at the fact you missed such a good opportunity to set him up on a date with one of your wives.

As you shake the snuh off your pelt, you see some lionesses ahead walking awkwardly in an attempt to follow some tracks ahead. You blink, evidently confused, until a lioness lifts up her head and sneers at you, telling you their king forced them to hunt down a snuh-lion in an attempt to please a green snake...what??

You wander along, wincing at the cold bitterness of the snuh biting your paw pads. A snapping of a twig alerts you and you watch a beautifully rosetted jaglion stretching in the feeble sunlight.

You can't help but stare at such a novel beauty wandering in your lands, her figure accentuated by the whiteness of the snuh. The jaglion must've sensed your presence and quickly fled before you had the chance to speak to her. Such a pity. At least you found some interesting bugs in her trail! (+2StB)

APPROACH
You saunter up to the jaglion, puffing out your mane and pulling yourself up, hoping to impress the lady. The jaglion doesn't seem impressed by your antics, aiming a powerful blow that sent your vision spinning as she scampered away.

GROWL
You approach menacingly, how dare a filthy hybrid saunter through your lands like they belonged to her. Your large stature and hostility catches the stunned jaglion off guard as she cowers beneath your scorching gaze. You threaten to kill her unless she immediately gets off your territory. She complies and you give a huff of irritation as you continue on your way.
