It was late in the afternoon by now. Skrimpy and I made our way away and out of the pond, carrying all our goodies from the first explore trip. Skrimpy runs ahead with a soaked yellow hat on her head, quacking and flapping her wings to announce her presence to the world and greet anyone who will listen! Her new flock follows after her, five duckies we rounded up, all quacking and wiggling their tails as they follow the leader.

And we’re back for a new day!
Jira and Fete can be heard bickering as they both head to the pond for their daily swim; arguing about who The Collector loved more, which position was a great honour, whether having more ducks was a blessing or a curse. The usual arguments these two had together.
After what felt like hours, but was only thankfully a few minutes, the pair reached the pond and sunk into the cool waters to begin their exploration.
