Hi, I saw somebody doing a challenge where they start with 5sb and through trading, they try and get more and more sb or at least items worth a higher amount of sb, and quite simply I want to try! I will theoretically (if this works at all!) update you on my progress here, but first I'm going to check out what's available at the trading centre/branches for 5sb!  _________The Trades___________ Trade 1: 5sd I Blue Prosopocoilus savagei UC/UC Sold for: 45sb Trade 2: 25sb I Little Rascal - Primal Decoration & 20sb I 3x use broken camera Sold for: 80sb combined Trade 3: 30sb I Goliathus goliatus Melanistic R/R + 50sb I 2x Human Liver Sold for: 360sb combined Trade 4: 1. 50sb I Gasteracantha versicolor Pink R/UC 2. 20sb I Orange Adetomyrma venatrix UC/UC 3. 22sb I 3 Broken camera (6 uses) 4. 20sb I 1 Broken Drone + Guilded cub 5. 20sb I little rascal poly 6. 5sb I Stretching Ferus left: 223sb (not sure what to buy :,I ) Sold for: 1. Okay! I have made my first move, I have bought this https://www.lioden.com/beetle.php?id=7305601 pretty Blue (uncommon) Prosopocoilus savagei (Uncommon) Beetle larva for just 5sb! I feel like the double "uncommon" will hopefully help in making her a bit more interesting to those looking for a gal like her. She is currently on a cool down but I will put her up for trade tomorrow morning, although not sure what to put her up for yet, maybe 30sb? I'll also open it up for offers to see if I can get anything interesting as a trade that I can work with :) 1 player likes this post! Like? |

Okay, I've been searching the trades all day trying to find something good and honestly, I haven't come up with much (except for an albino beetle which disappeared when I tried to buy it), so since I have 45 to spend I've decided to break it up into multiple purchases/trades. So I have bought 1. 25sb a cute Little Rascal - Primal which is currently up for trade 2. some cameras (3 uses) for a total of 20sb, and those are also now up for trade but in a separate trade. 1 player likes this post! It's been like 10 minutes and the little rascal cub has already been bought, I'm now back up 40sb! so long as I sell the camera for about 10sb I've made a profit, hopefully they sell at 20sb tho so I can have 60sb to spend! 1 player likes this post! Like? |

AND THE CAMERAS HAVE BEEN BOUGHT, WOOOOO!!  so I now have a combined total of 80sb to work with! I will report back what jucy trades I find. I'm not sure if I'll stick to the 1 item thing or keep getting multiple things. I feel like the ladder might be good cause if one thing isn't selling I'm not out all the money :P 0 players like this post! Like? |

The third round of selling and trading has been completed! With the 80sb I got I bought a Goliathus goliatus Melanistic R/R larva for 30sb (super lucky find) + 2 Human Livers for 50sb The beetle sold for 240sb (210sb profit!), and the human livers sold for 120sb (70sb profit!) So the combined total I have to work with now is 360sb 0 players like this post! Like? |

Surprisingly I'm finding having a larger sum of money harder to work with, currently, I have like 6 trades up and haven't even used half of the budget. I think once you move up to more expensive items, there appear to be some naturally agreed-upon prices that the smaller and cheaper items don't. Some items you can either buy for like 20sb or 100sb, but once it's more pricey, everyone seems to sell it at the same price in a way which makes turning a profit difficult, since you have to buy it first. Not sure what to do, I need to figure out things which are more expensive and will actually pull in more than spent. I feel like the answer is beetles/breeding items/lions, but beetles and lions, to turn a profit at a higher stage would probably involve long-term breeding projects, which just seem like they would be really hard to deal with since I don't have tonnes of spare sb or any gb to grow my territory or bettle slots. I'm not sure if breeding would be in line with the idea of the project too  . Maybe I need to branch out into places that do more item-based trades, instead of trades. 0 players like this post!
