Hello! This is inspired off of the fantastic Abandon All Hope Ye Who Enter Here! It’s essentially a revival!

I’ll post more information as I get to it, but this will be a semi-to-literate roleplay similar to the original. If you’re worried, I have obtained the permission to make this revival, I’m not just stealing it..

Welcome to the forest that shouldn’t exist, but does.

Fears made real, the shadows draw near..
You were told of the dangers, you’ve heard the stories..
But you just couldn’t pass up a chance to obtain that prize, could you?

Welcome dear friends to the small town of Blackwood! This small town is infamous however, for a darkness that lays just beyond the town limits. Beware the Malvada Forest. This massive redwood forest is surrounded by a fifty foot stone wall, the only way in is through a large metal gate; the words, 'Lasciate ogne speranza, voi ch'intrate' etched in the stone above it.

These woods are known to be the source of misfortune and death, yet so many dare its entrance. Why? Who in their right mind would brave the horrors that have been said to lurk behind those walls? For the prize of course. See, there’s a being that makes its home inside this forest, and encountering this being will reward those with three wishes. The wishes can be anything. No rules, no strings, no nothing. Just three glorious wishes.

Sounds too easy? Sounds too good to be true? Well, it seems dear friend, you’ve got the right idea. This forest is cursed filled with horrors and terrors beyond belief. The hallucinations start only hours after entering, your darkest fears brought to life. Some malicious force is toying with you, playing with your life with all the glee that comes from watching you tear your minds, bodies, and teams apart. This being is hell bent on your demise.

Only one person has ever reached the end of the forest and made it back alive. One man who now lives alone and talks to no one. Thaddaeus Grimm went into the forest fifty years ago with two other fellows and returned alone. No one knows his wish, or how he ever made it back, or even what happened to the rest of his team. He lives on the outskirts of town, and no one has seen him for years now.

Going alone is certain death, but with a team, you’ll have to share those precious wishes. Unless of course, you plan to sabotage them and take the wishes for yourself, backstabbing those who helped you into the forest. Plenty attempt the challenge, so many are lost to the woods. Those who escape are never the same. What will you do?
