Want to make cute Wardrobe designs easily?

This is how i do it :

Step 1 - Select a wanted base, find a fitting mane color, eye & skin color! This is also the perfect moment to think about what exactly you want to try and design right now.
If you want a lion in a specific color scheme : Get yourself a list of all the markings in said color! For exemple, if you want a green lion, Bushveld, Algae, Pistachio & Mistletoe are probably going to be your go-to marking colors for this design!
If you are looking to design yourself an heir, decide which kind of markings you want, Breed-only (Tier 2), applicator (Tier 3), RMA exclusive (Tier 6) or a mix of all ?

Step 2 - Select a pose you like (or mutation) ! This ensures that the design wont look weird or dull in the pose you want !
After that is done, start laying out which "Background" Marking you want.
These markings will help you blend your design. let me get you an exemple.

Let's imagine i really want to design a Cairngorm BO bomb, but that i dont like the lighter patterns around the shoulders of the base.
Well i already know that i want to use a light-colored Inverted Zebra marking into my design.
Therefore, to make some contrast in the design and to help that light-colored marking pop, I will use darker markings.
I chose
Seal Burmese 40% in slot 1, Dim spice 40% in slot 2 and Spice rogue 20% in slot 3.

Cairngorm without the BG markings: ☆ Caringorm with the chosen markings:

Step 3 - Esablish your Foreground markings.
Those markings would be the ones which have higher opacities and more shape to them.
I want to use Royal inverted Zebra, Seal dorsal line and Cream Margay for this.

Cream Margay 60% in slot 4, Seal dorsal line 60% in slot 5 and Royal inverted Zebra 70% in Slot 6!

Cairngorm with the BG markings AND FG markings:

Step 4 - You may notice now that the Lion looks a little weird.
That is because the Foreground markings feel out of place and have trouble blending in with the darker base & Background markings. To fix this is very simple, all you need is to add Framing Markings.
Those markings will ensure a blended look. Usually Underfelt, Soft unders, Lace, Rims, Dim and Belly markings work best, But ghost Feralis, inverted zebra and inverted Quagga works too! These markings should usually be under 50% opacity, although lighter colored markings (White, Pistachio, Bone, ect) might need a higher %.

I chose Bone Inverted Cover 40% in slot 7, Cream Lace 70% in slot 8, Bone underfelt 100% in slot 9 and bone rims 100% in slot 10.

Cairngorm with BG, FG AND Framing markings:

Hope this found it's proper use to any one who may have needed it! Have a lovely day!

REMINDER: This is how I design my lions. there is no right or wrong way to do it. I just wanted to break my thought process down for anyone who may find use to it!

Thank you!
