I keep running across people whose stud rules have those three bases listed as opposing factors for each other, so that breeding two together yields the third, like: Ennead x Ogdoad = Ra etc. But, the wiki has them listed as factors that are grouped on the same side. My interpretation is that breeding any of the three to a base that corresponds to one of them has a chance of yielding the corresponding one, like: [Ennead or Ra or Ogdoad] x [Deshret or Nefer or Wepwawet] = Ra [En/Ra/Og trio] x [any other Ennead factor] = Ennead With the caveat that two of the trio bred together can yield either one (but not the third), like: Ra x Ennead = [Ra or Ennead] Am I right? Or am I throwing my beetles into the void breeding an Ubaste to a Ra in hopes of an Ogdoad? 0 players like this post! Like? |

You're not unfortunately. The stud rules you're refering to are correct Only the pairing of Ennead x Ogdoad Ennead x Ra Ogdoad x Ra Can throw the third combo. As for the Wiki - it's confusing but if you look closer you'll see that: If two bases have "x" between them then they're the factors. Ennead, Ogdoad & Ra have "xs" between them. And it's true that they're on the opposing side to app factors but there is a LINE between and not "x" so that means that it's either the top bases OR bottom bases bred together 😊 And Ubaste isn't even a factor to any of those. Ubaste is a part of earlier set of combos - so Gilded, Rose Gold, Sphinx. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 07/05/24 @ 04:48:50 by Magnituda [G7 high BO Orchid] (#200075) |
