Clean can mean a few different things depending on the player. It's not an official term. It popularly means no inbreeding. Whether any inbreeding past the first page counts is up to the player. It originally meant a lion without 4 certain lions in its heritage. But more commonly nowadays it just means no inbreeding.

A dirty lion, naturally, is one with inbreeding. It's not as mean a term as it sounds—if I remember my Lioden history it was a term used with pride by people who were not swayed by the arrival of the no-inbreeding trend. It didn't always show an indicator that the lion might be inbred, so it didn't really matter or wasn't kept track of until it was added.

It's up to player interpretation and preference. Play how you like, don't let anyone try to bully you one way or another. Clean lions are generally more preferable in terms of market, but there are still plenty of players who don't give a shit and whole clans celebrating inbred lions lol
