Introduction

Stars Among Us is a Discord-based RPG based on the Warriors series by Erin Hunter. Enjoy custom activities, events, roleplay, art and writing, and DND-esque battles while you develop your characters, grow your Clan, and discover the secrets of the mysterious island!
LoreThe Earthquake
After a devastating earthquake ripped through a city park that housed many feral cats, two-legs appeared to capture and move the cats to a safe location via a cargo ship. However, during transit, the boat was hit with ferocious tidal waves caused by aftershocks of the earthquake and quickly capsized. Though not everyone escaped, those that could swam to a nearby island they could see in the distance - and thus, the Island of Stars was discovered.

The Five Leaders
A large group of the surviving cats had gathered at the base of the dormant volcano and worked together to survive. However, cats began to clash over food shortages, responsibilities, and various other factors. One night, after a massive fight that had ended in bloodshed, five cats who had distinguished themselves as natural leaders suddenly rose from their nests in silence and sleepwalked their way up the side of the volcano. They found a deep pool of water filled with chunks of obsidian and, still asleep, leaped into the dark depths.

As soon as the cats touched the water, they awoke in a starry world filled with the spirits of cats who hadn't made it from the shipwreck. The spirits proclaimed themselves to be StarClan and told the five cats that, in order to survive, they would each need to rally a group of cats and spread out across the island - five leaders for five regions. Each leader was blessed with nine lives so that they may lead their Clans and renamed: Solstar of the desert, Torrentstar of the mountains, Blossomstar of the marshland, Scarletstar of the forest, and Dovestar of the grassland.

Hunting
Hunting returns Prey

Foraging
Foraging returns Herbs

Long-form activity where cats encounter a lot of things
High chance for new cats and craftables
High chance for fights, danger, and death

Training
Only apprentices less than 3 seasons old participate (apprentices must have their mentors participate as well)
High chance to receive a stat
Low chance for injury

Art/Writing
Art and Writing can both be submitted for our currency "Stardust"! Stardust can be used for a plethora of things in the server.
Gain bonuses for extra characters, color, lore relevance, story/character building, etc.!
Event-based submission receive event currency and raffle tickets for specially made cats!

Legend Lore
Week-long "activity" that introduces a writing/art prompt that you must complete to receive great bonuses!
Faster you complete, the longer your bonus lasts!Breeding [Genetics System]Something I am sure a lot of people are curious about is ... Breeding!

Yes! You can pair your cats together to have kits! (or have forbidden pairs with other players/seduce rogues...)
This server has created a dedicated genetic database and genetic string for each cat created. This allows us to generate kits that take after both of their parents, as well as have fun things mixed in! You could end up with a kit that has a trait that was hidden on their parents or even ... a mutation! There is always potential for an exciting surprise.

There are also items to change litter number and give fun motifs to the babies-to-be. (Including an item that boosts mutation chances).

There are three possible age stages: Kit, Apprentice, and Warrior. Once adults, your cats can be decorated and have things added to their sprite! There are so many ways to make your already unique cat even more special.
