I bought a cub just yesterday and I rolled over today to find this, PLEASE TELL ME THERE'S SOMETHING TO FIX THIS Your cub, Sunray (#794218544311), found some meat left out by a villager. Little did it know, the meat was tainted and it died after consuming the meat. The cub's survival bar was at 21% but it dropped 20%, taking the survival bar to 1% when the cub died. Its records were not stored in your former pride. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Unfortunately you can't do anything to bring the cub back, since its records weren't stored, and it'd be gone forever :( you can stop it happening to other cubs you get by assigning a broodmother role to lionesses to protect cubs, so they don't die 0 players like this post! Like? |

Thanks I unfortunately didn't have any broodmothers available and I thought she'd survive one more rollover but whatever I feel like people should not be able to sell lions who's health is below 50% it seems unfair to trade a half dead lion for all that GB or Silver Beatles. Absolutely Ridiculous 1 player likes this post! Like? |

21% survival bar is a guaranteed death row (when you see a cub with 21% survival bar your thoughts should be "HOW did it even survive that long"), so you really should have assigned a broodmother to her (you can assign more broodmothers if your current ones are all occupied. 39 territory allows you to have 4 broodmothers)! There's also Hornbill Majordomo item in Monkey Buisness for 200 SB which makes a cub survival 100% upon use - while I agree trading a cub should be more steamlines (for example autocancelling trade/offer if cub drops below certain %) it is also your responsibility to make sure your cubs dont have the skull next to them in the caves. Skull means a cub is at risk of dying next rollover, and it indicates you should assign a broodmother to it! You can also safely unassign any cubs that are 11 months old from your broodmothers. They will NOT die next rollover, and once they're 1 year old they no longer need a broodmother. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 21/05/24 @ 07:29:35 by Mad Hyena (#29080) |

I recommend prioritising the cubs that you care about the most when assigning broodmothers to lions in addition to playing with the cub to minimise the risk of good cubs dying. You can also invest in FAPA to mood-boost the cubs to full survival. If you own Feed All, Play All, there's not really any need to have any broodmothers. It is, however, quite an expense, especially for newer and more casual players. The system is in place to prevent players from creating "cub mills"—cubs bred in mass and neglected—flooding the market. Protecting all cubs isn't always feasible, unfortunately. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 21/05/24 @ 14:23:30 by TheClassCalico (#88888) |
