I've been working on this sunflower decor for months. Through many iterations. I had it rejected because of the lines.

Last time it was "Hi again! Thank you for the changes! The decor has improved but it's still a bit pixelated and needs to be smoother to match the lion. Besides that, it's good and will be approved after this small fix."

I realized my resolution had gotten messed up and was way too low. So I upped the resolution, increased the size like Xylax recommends, redid every line in the decor, then reduced the size back to Lioden specs and submitted this:

but I just had it rejected with this response: "The decor looks good but the edges are still a little too sharp. If you could make them a bit smoother, it would fix the issue. This is the only thing that requires a small adjustment and the decor will be approved after the fix."

I'm kinda at my wit's end. Any advice on how to fix the lines at this point? Do I need to swap the black for a dark brown & dark green (flowers / leaves + stems)? Take a soft eraser to them? I'm not sure what is the sharp part - the color contrast or the actual line edges.

I'd swap your colours yes, but in addition your linework brush is probably too "hard".
What program are you using so I can advise?

I'm using Xylax's brush set through Clip Studio Paint. I used the hard round 3 for lines. On a previous decor, I used the soft round and was told it wasn't sharp enough 🤷.

I feel you, been having this exact problem with a CD on Wolvden. I've already taken a soft eraser to it, gaussian blur, etc... Still gets rejected every time for the lines being too sharp

Xylax usually uses his lines on a lowered opacity typically, 70-80%, that can drastically soften lines.

Left side is "fixed", right side is original. Do y'all think this will resolve this mod concern: "The decor looks good but the edges are still a little too sharp. If you could make them a bit smoother, it would fix the issue. This is the only thing that requires a small adjustment and the decor will be approved after the fix." ?

I would try using a darker yellow personally. Let me charge my ipad and I can see if I can help.

Part of the problem is at some point the sunflower lines layer got merged down into the color layer. So changing the lines for the sunflowers is fairly difficult. I also did this decor accidentally at 75px and then adjusted to 300 px so fixing internal color issues is almost impossible without fully redoing all the color, because I can't match the texture differences from brushes used at different resolutions. Overall just a suuuuuuper frustrating series of rookie mistakes making this decor difficult to adjust, even though these should be small adjustments.

It may be worth redoing it and taking it as a learning curve. You might make something even better!
