Its really hard to tell if your Digital style would be accepted or not, as its not so much about anatomy how much it is about the quality and details of shading. You could have 100% photorealistic anatomy but be rejected because the shading looks too cartoonish, or because the lines are too cartoonish - instead of the sketch, I would suggest making a small simple example of digital shaded art - for example, just a furred ball/sphere where you'd show how your lines/shading/lighting looks in digital. Then it'd be possible to tell if your art would be accepted. 2 players like this post! Like? Edited on 28/05/24 @ 11:18:59 by Mad Hyena (#29080) |

That is definitely not going to be accepted! It is very cartoonish, the lines are very thick and simple, they need to be much thinner and much less a "straight line" but more of short strokes/fur looking, and shading isnt anywhere near Lioden art quality - it has almost no shading at all, no fur detail, no muscle relief. This topic has helpful tips on what criteria it must fit: https://www.lioden.com/topic.php?id=304429253122 1 player likes this post! Like? Edited on 28/05/24 @ 13:26:45 by Mad Hyena (#29080) |

Hello!! I'd really recommend painting over the drawing with a lighter color and a darker color to show the shadows and light more. There should be more shadow where places meet (so, under the tail, on the underside of the legs, stomach, etc)! I also recommend using thinner lineart. And also, the fur is a bit too triangular around the throat and stomach and ears. I'd soften them just a bit. Here, I'll draw a bit to give you some visual examples of all that I mean because I don't think I'm making sense 0 players like this post! Like? |

Here's a sketch I did over yours to show what I mean! I really like the pose you did, but the anatomy is just slightly off. Your hair looks quite young and leggy/lanky, so I tried to keep that while trying to do a bit more realistic anatomy. I really like the scene hair, I'd just make it more detailed and flowy!! I accidentally changed the length and then didn't add the other longer part of hair around your heir's cheek, but I hope it helps some. Also, forelegs can't quite bend that far backwards haha. Oh, also! Forelimbs don't look it sometimes, but they're basically arms, with wrists, elbows, shoulders, etc! You're missing the wrists, they should protrude just a little to show there's a joint there! As for making the fur more detailed, you can reference lioden!! Although, you don't have to get it perfect. Here's a custom decor I did that just got accepted and it's not perfect LD style. LD style is very painterly though, if that helps any! Anyways, I hope this helps! If you have any questions, just let me know. Creating a CD can be very complicated and confusing, I wish you the best!! 1 player likes this post! Like?
