I have a few suggestions, but some of them are quite unrealistic so take them as you will!

Radiated Ravine! Increases the chance of finding a wolf with a Lethal mutation by (However many percentage you wish), However this is a potentially risky area and there is a 50/50 chance of obtaining RADIATION SICKNESS meaning you cannot explore for a certain amount of time.

New items, features and mutations

An item that works in the same way as an IBF, like the flaming balls you suggested

An exclusive flower that you can feed your she-wolfs to decrease her breeding cooldown that can only be found by exploring in more expensive areas?

Bioluminescent mutation. I will stand by this till the day I die

extending on Hua's suggestion, rare elemental wolves? Floral could be a part of it, or maybe a subspecies but like.. earth wolves, fire wolves, water wolves, ect. If this is too difficult this could be a fun event with its own zone instead

Deer antlers/Antlers
Longer tails (floor sweeper length kinda thing)
Ghoulified (zombies in a way? Though closer to Fallouts representation of ghouls)
Robotic/Steampunk (Parts replaced by/and/or added - metal/wires ect)
Angelic (biblically accurate angelic is what I mean)
Nuclear (them geiger counters go clickdy click)

Biomes you'd like to see:
Mystic cave or cavern (Wolves here have a strange glow about them and their colours seem quite bright!)
Irradiated Crator (Things here don't seem so good, maybe it's not smart to be here too long?) - Increased chance of Ghoul/Robotic/Nuclear wolves if mutation is rolled
Ethreal Hights (The wolves here have a pure air about them and some impressive wings... w-wait did that one have 6 eyes?) - increased chance of winged and Angelic wolves if mutation is rolled

Adult sex charger: for use when adult but ONLY if they haven't been bred.
Mutation Booklet: Select the mutation of the wolf you find (probably decently pricey to buy)
Paint Bucket: Select the base colour of the wolf you find
Paint Brush: Select a accent/marking colour of the wolf you find
Artists pallet: Select 3-5 colours of the wolf you find (Amount rng chosen) colour regions could be: Eyes, Skin, Base colour, Marking 1,Marking 2 (colours can be chosen but NOT what markings are done.)
Irradiated Rat: Guarentees a Ghoul/Nuclear mutation wolf
Ethreal Feather: Guarantees a Angelic mutation wolf
