Honestly your pfp could be anything as long as it’s 150x150. Personally I just used a google image that was pre-sized. But you could always go through to trouble to resize it.

Hello! My way can be a bit complicated, but still
At first, I chose a picture I wanted to be my pfp (in my case it was that moment from the Invader Zim comic). I cropped it as best as I could to make the size closer to 150x150, and that opened in picture editor (I use Gimp cause it is comfortable for me, but you can use anything that lets you resize your picture) and resize it to 150x150. It may be a bit wonky, but it works
After I search imgbb site (https://imgbb.com/) and upload my picture with the "Don't autodelete" option (another way you'll end with a missing file pfp). Then in "Embed codes" I choose "HTML full linked" and copy the part of it I need (in brackets after img src=)

Currently no :( It's a missing file and a link to the picture leads to a Pinterest page and then shows that "We couldn't find this page"
Try downloading your picture on your device and uploading it to imgbb (or any other picture hosting)

I also know that you can try loading your pics to Deviant Art and then copying their links if you don't trust hostings (it's completely okay)
I also currently testing Tumblr (either privately posting your picture, or posting it as a draft)

Yep, Tumblr drafts work (if you open my pfp now in a new tab, you'll see that it's a Tumblr link)
So you just post your 150x150 sized image on Tumblr as a draft and copy a link to it (or open in a new tab and then copy a link)
And then paste it into Avatar URL field

It's currently leading to a imgbb page, not the picture link itself. You used the "Viewer link" option (the first that pops up), as I understand. Try choosing "HTML full linked" in the same dropdown. Then copy it and delete anything except your image full link

For example I have this full HTML code (ruined it a bit so it would show up as a code)
