NUN recolors: ISIS and HATHOR
hey there, might be jumping the gun a little, but folks were discussing in main chat, and we all know how each june combo gets its own set of recolors? imagine nun as a rich deep blue and purple.

I wanted this set of names to have a common theme: creation. Nun, our base this year, represents the primidorial waters from which the universe was created, the origin. Hathor represents motherhood, and human creation of the arts, the creation. Isis represents healing and rebirth, the rebirth.

the alternate names for both of these bases also fall under a similar theme-- ptah being another representation of human creation, craftsmenship; amun being the god of the air and primidorial creation, and nephthys representing the transition between life and death, the opposite of rebirth.

ISIS

isis is a black medium solid special. it is tied to ink skin.

Isis is the goddess of healing, magic and rebirth. she is closely connected to the blue lotus, and known widely by greek name Isis, however sources relate that the ancient Egyptians knew her as Aset.

you might be wondering, grass, why do we need more blues? dont the ones we have already line up? let me present a side by side under spoiler:

as you can see, our current blue bases do not do blue the way I and many others want to see blue in our lioden lives. I want to see a blue blue base, a rich dark blue with other blues, and just blue thanks a lot. none of this teal next year, thanks!

HATHOR

hathor is a black dark solid special. it is tied to plum skin.

hathor is the goddess of love, motherhood, beauty and music. she is often depicted in a headdress/crown with a sundisk, and in luxurious clothing. in ancient times, the color purple was associated with luxury and royalty, as it was a hard dye to make, and expensive.
