People have different definitions of clean, but usually, it means a total lack of inbreeding and/or no "Big Four" (Keyser Soze, Boombah, HOT HOT TATER TOT, and The Savannah Prince) in their heritage.

Some other definitions include:
*No inbreeding up until a certain point (such as only on the first page)
*A short heritage (though, most people will refer to this separately)
*No "honourary" Big Four (Moby Dick and Indra come to mind)

A dirty lion is a lion without these traits.
