This is for if a user passes on. If they have a friend who knows, and also plays lioden, that friend can notify the Dev's and their territory page and possibly a linked acc will turn into a memorial for them, with a message at the top saying something like "(Username and User #) has passed on, may they rest in peace" or something like that. And their account will be frozen and comment board can be turned into something for people who knew them to share stories, or for other members to send their condolences. Maybe a button that passer-by's could click where they can 'Leave a flower' and above that button there's a number of how many flowers have been left. Help the friends grieve. A possible precaution for people falsely reporting could be the page cannot be made into a memorial until they haven't been online for at least 4+ months. I just think it would be nice. |

I'm not inherently opposed to this, but I think it would need to be handled with a lot of care due to the sensitive nature of the topic. 6 players like this post! Like? |

I think this is really nice. Definitely would have to be handled with care. But having their page as a memorial would be really nice. May I ask, what would happen to their lions/pride? Immortalized? 0 players like this post! Like? |

I was thinking it could work like how it already works now when someone is gone for a month+. Their lions stay the same as they are, no running, no loosing hunger or mood. Technically immortal, but without actually being immortal. That way if someone's account is reported as they're deceased and they're not, or if it was a false alarm, they can contact the devs and say it was a false alarm and their account will be unfrozen and made a regular account again. 1 player likes this post! On the fence about this one. A lot of accounts are deactivated for various reasons, and not because the user has passed away. The player may very well be alive but left for reasons like bored with the game, etc. Or banned permanently and their ID can be used again for a new user, this happens a lot. One can always do a shrine or memorial on their page for a friend/ family member, etc. that has passed away. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I like this idea. But to be 100% honest, there has to be some kind of proof given before the account is shifted to a Memorial page. Also Mots, i don't think ID's are ever re-used. King names are. But IDs don't. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Mots- That's why they have to be reported as deceased by a friend of theirs or someone else who knows for certain or has very good knowledge that there's a high chance they are deceased Shadow- I get that. Still trying to figure out a way to get some sort proof thing. Do you have any ideas? 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 14/06/24 @ 18:24:53 by Starleap (#454797) |

Only thing i can think of is a family member sending in a picture of the certificate of death, can't be a friend, has to be a family member. Email would including: Players Email Players Username Players ID Picture of the Certificate Maybe even a join date or last time the account was shown as online. Reason is a friend can get all the information besides the Username/Certificate. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Good idea. There could also be a feature where you can make certain accounts your friended to be able to report you, kind of like a 'Notify the next of kin' thing. For accounts of people who've passed before the possible update, the basic player id and email would be needed 0 players like this post! Like? |
