hiiiii so its been about 4 years since i've done adopts, but they were pretty successful and i really enjoyed the creative freedom and self-paced schedule (esp with work) :) since making a tentative return, i figured i might get back in to it? would something like this still get any attention? i don't want to undervalue my work, but i also don't want to end up finishing something that won't get enough traction to sell for what i think it's worth lol.

i'm working on what will be a detailed, flat color character reference that i'm planning on putting up for auction for GB/USD. my current project is based off an extinct tiger species, the longdan tiger, which tends to have a shorter, more stout frame and a really interesting (hypothetical) spot pattern! color palette-wise i'm going to shoot for something natural but not really realistic to the species, lol. i've been browsing around domestic cat and horse coat patterns and rn i'm looking at something similar to a fawn tabby or a buckskin overo type shtick (don't rag on me i don't know anything about cat OR horse genetics i'm in it for the pretty pictures). color scheme is still up in the air and open to ideas tho

to reiterate, this will be a fully lined (not sketched) and painted (not shaded) piece

here's a more recent example of a quick paint in my style, and older examples of adopts can be found on that thread at the top i think as long as the links still work

anyways interest? y/n? suggestions? critique? things to add/improve? thanks! :p

Hey! So, I'm literally in love with your artstyle lol
I'd definitely be interested in buying this/something like this, but I know that it'd be a bit too expensive for me (as it should, never underprice your art, especially not if it's this pretty)
Uhh light critique? If I may)) Tigers are rather chonky, so I think if you wanted to, you could add some more fluff to the belly! :] But it's still really cute like this!!
Otherwise, I cannot say one bad thing about it. Coming from personal preference, I'd also love to see it in darker colours like a desaturated reddish-brown, kinda like a seal linx point cat
Good luck on finishing it! I'm sure I'll check back in when it's up for sale/auction, or if you have any updates on how it's turning out.
