I am NOT suggesting a chameleon lion hybrid. That would be impossible. The are called chameleonism lions because of their resemblance to chameleons. They always are brightly colored and have curly tails. ( I had this idea mainly because I am obsessed with lizards) So it's mainly a tail curly mutation. Similar image link:
