It was not very common at all. I found the encounter itself a decent bit, but getting the 'arrange a date!' button was rare on top of the encounter. It was also skippable, of course, and a lot of players unfortunately missed it from clicking too fast. :[

The chance was 1/150, or 0.6%. It was best used on lionesses without a mutation item (gmo, crb, lion meat, etc) as it rolled LAST but if it succeeded, it would wipe the mutation popped. So, if your litter was due from a crb/gmo with a first gen pon rolling, then the first gen gon could roll over it. So instead of a first gen pon in one litter and a first gen gon in the next, you'd risk it by using it on a mutie'd up chance litter! The 0.6% was apparently a 'large boost', so the chances to breed a first gen naturally is probably quite abysmally low. So definitely a good boost but still not enough to where you were guaranteed one even if you found it 150 times. I only was able to arrange 3 or 4 dates myself, and none of course resulted in a first gen gon!

Ramune covered it all pretty well! Just chiming in to say I didn't find the encounter at all, as a casual player. Hard to remember how active I was back then, but I can imagine Ramune probably used at least a few boosts haha

I actually was super casual about it too! I did use up *all* the energy I had but I don't think I used many, if any, extra energy boosts!

Just whatever when I was up! I usually am not able to sleep long at night no matter how much I try, so I do try to sleep through the night if I can. I also get ridiculously tired during the day, so my grinds need to be condensed into a couple hours a day tops. But back then I was working long, long hours, so I took what I could get!

I definitely would recommend roasted lambs/red bulls if there is a boost for Jaglions, if anyone is going after them. As well as remembering daily energy from Gorilla Enclave and bone marrows!

Thanks for answering my questions! It does seem pretty rare, but fingers crossed my luck will be halfway decent if there’s a boost. If not, I’ve got the funds for a massive crb project or just buy one outright

CRBs are a lot of fun too because you get the chance at other fun stuff, like random dwarves, DUs, lethals, etc.!

But for exploring, they could even change up the rate of the boost or the rate in which the encounter appeared too! But for Tigons, it was not terribly common and you were still having to go hand-to-hand combat with RNG even if you did get it. But I've got roasted lambs stocked for it *just* in case.

Just wanted to chime in about my experience with the encounter during the hype, I actually found it a good few times (maybe like 4-5) and I played pretty casually! ( no buying energy boosts + this was before the daily energy boost ) So if you had good rng you'd find it a few times even without buying tons of energy!

Never got a gon from any of them however! Would have made more selling the boosts!
