I'm planning my first heir breeding project, and I need some major advice on how to do my best to get what I want outta this. The theme I picked is a Koi Fish!

Here's the clicky of the lion I'd like to sire from my current Main Male : Wardrobe Mockup : The idea is to get the Red Base on the heir and I can buy what I can and build onto that base but my current male is, well... big ole stinky
I'm not sure what NCL's skin bases I should be pairing him with to get the male I actually want.

I appreciate any suggestions/ advice /help on where to start. I know the items I'll just have to buy so I'm not worried about that, but I'm so new to breeding, I could use the help lol.

You’ve helped me narrow down what bases and skins I should be looking for, I’ll be keeping track of the advice that suits the project best up here so I’m not losing track over time.

What needs to be bred…
Specifically the Tobiano piebald mutation.
A Red base, straight up just red lol
Red indri
White lace

What needs to be purchased…
Red points (marking app 3GB)
Red cozy (get in February )
Lycaon heavy inverted noctis (get in January)
Paradise eyes (eye changer 3GB)
Transvaal mane (mane changer 5GB)
Might need a Red skin (skin changer 400SB)
Might need a Red mane too (mane color changer 3GB)

I’ll be trying breeding combos with sienna, redwood, and mahogany, blush rose, protea, seth, and windfall. Before that I’ll try breeding piebald mutations from CRB’d lionesses. Hopefully they are male but if I get the Tobiano piebald on a girl I will not hesitate to change genders XD
I think I’ll king a different king before the final Koi king as well, being that big ole stinky is only giving me cream babies >:C

I might give another lions’ tobiano to the king but I kinda wanna be able to say I bred it XD

I’ve just learned of an item called a “crunchy worm” which can be found in the manticora event store. I’ll almost definitely use that during the last couple generations to help with the Tobiano hunt.
