What gameplay feature is this bug affecting?

What's the issue? Please include any error messages you receive and as much detail as possible.
During the event explore while in the nebula area, upon winning a battle against one of the boss enemies that occurs every 10 NPC victories, the game suddenly notifies that there is a "server timeout" and forces you to reload the page. Upon reload, the page just says "Battle invalid!" and the boss battle isn't completable. It prevents the boss wins from counting towards the nebula shop, too.

Please provide us with step by step explanation how this bug happened so we can attempt to replicate it. If it's complex, please include screenshots where possible:
Enter area 2 of celestial explore (veil nebula)
Win any 10 NPC battles
Encounter boss enemy
"Win" a boss fight (get within 1 hit of victory)
When you go to deal the last hit, the bug should occur that prompts the "server timeout" page
