Firstly, I want to mention how much I love this idea as a whole, and I love the way it like hatches and grows with the lion. I will admit before the tip that I am not super into realistic art so take my advice with a grain of salt. But I think the eggs would maybe look a little less off if they held their shape more? Like for the hatched ones the shape works really well, bit for when the snakes still in them I think they should be a little more solid(?). Snake eggs are softer then things like chicken eggs, but they do tend to still keep a curving oval shape and I think adding that might help? Of course even if you don't change anything, the decor already looks amazing!^^

The eggs were really confusing to make, I couldn't find any reference photos for hatched ones, so they're currently at a kind of vague idea stage lol. I was thinking that after I fix up the first eggs, I'll need to find some good references for the hatched ones and make them look a little "softer" you know? Less like something is still in them

I wasn't sure if I should prioritize making them more visible, or if I should keep them a little further away because of the potential threat of the mother? I'll try a bit of moving to see which one I prefer once I've got the look down.

For the hatched eggs, you can look up Snake Discovery videos. They hatch snakes and you can catch glimpses of the hatched eggs.

Not quite advice, but I did want to mention how these look, and I think the consistent loop of the snake across each pose really gives it's a put together and concise look!^^
