As someone who's on every day, I still have only completed the quest on one account. It's a LOT of grinding where you need to dump hundreds of food, herbs, and cubs into it. It's also like 33 days minimum to complete, but took me a lot longer due to all the insane requirements. Plus you need to visit the otters once or twice for the quest, so you gotta wait around for the wet season.

Your only reward is the Interstellar base app and a title, I believe. And the Interstellar base app isn't worth what it used to be, given how many more are in the game due to the Crater quest/more players having a chance to find one in explore. I already have two I haven't gotten around to using yet :/

if you don't mind spoilers you can look up the quest on the wiki. i am so happy i did before i spent 5000 sb... grinding for those thousands of items over a few months to get an applicator you can buy for 30 sounds so tedious to me... i don't care about titles and for me personally there are much more fun ways to save currency in game to buy the applicator than doing that quest. as all those items you need to trade in require you to explore and hunt a lot to gather (or pay a lot to purchase) you might as well just save up for the applicator i think... but this is just my opinion. interstellar lions are very cheap to purchase too if you don't want the base on a specific lion you have

I’ve been slowly working on the quest for the last ish years as an on & off again player and am about halfway through - while it is a big investment for not a huge reward (and you could probbaly get it faster by slowly building a stash of GB) i will say that i have greatly enjoyed having something extra to work on
a lot of the quests are kind of long and tedious if you try to focus on them intensely but if you take it more as sometihng to just slowly make some progress on over time i think it’s kind of fun! (especially for things like donating cubs - rather than trying to get a bunch of cubs to finish it as fast as possible just use it as a passive sink for the ones you’d chase/abandon anyways)

i think you’re probably best off waiting till the start fee wont totally wipe your SB and making sure you have lots of extra stuff in your inventory howver because it’s definitely a bit of an item sink imo

It took forever... and I even did a drawing with my OC expressing my frustration with the stupid quest.

I did get an Interstellar app that I normally can't afford so... there's that. Otherwise, it will make you pull your hair out.

I'm a semi active player and I gave up on it. Personally I didn't feel it's worth it hence giving up. I've almost grinded out enough ingredients to craft one and that was less tedious than the quest.

It took me nearly a year to finish it bc I kept taking breaks. It’s not fun at all and quite frustrating. The insane amount of herbs and the dens to be visited drove me mad haha. Still haven’t used the applicator bc I’m kind of over space themed lions atm soooo….
