Hi, I'm a really new person to HTML and such. I'm trying to create a stud thread for my king once he's completed, and I was trying to use a free premade HTML, but for some reason adding a background to the code just isn't working. At first I thought it was because the original link to the background was from imgur, so I swapped it to postimg, but it didn't fix it. So I tried to make an HTML from scratch and while I do get the boxes working since I'm just using basic code, I can't seem to figure out how to add a background to sit behind everything. What's the current coding that you're trying to use? :0 I'm p sure the usual html would be (as confirmed by a few sites) <*style> body { background-image: url('IMG-URL-ENDING-IN-.PNG/.JPG/ETC'); } *style> without the * edit: this thread might assist you! 0 players like this post! I was attempting to use the "Starry Mountains" one from this thread: https://www.lioden.com/topic.php?id=304429402910 When I put the code into the forum thread, it does add all the boxes and such, just no background. But I'll definitely try the coding you sent, thanks! I did follow that thread but it wasn't working either, not sure why :( 0 players like this post! The coding on that thread hasn’t been updated, every single one of them has a background that doesn’t work unfortunately. I found out the other day after trying to use 3 of them! 0 players like this post! Like? |

Darn, that really sucks. I was able to download the background used by just plucking the image from the code, so I'm trying to figure out how to re-add it, essentially lol 0 players like this post! Like? |
