Hey all, I just got back to playing lioden after a 6 month hiatus. I’m not one that particularly enjoys my lions being bought just to be killed, so previously I wouldn’t post to the market until the lions were adols and that seemed to do the trick. Now though it seems even my adols are being bought and killed. Is there a reason for this? Anything I can do to deter it? I know people can “do what they want” with my lions but I have specific fodders for the ugly ones. Lots of G2 babies being killed and I’m honestly not happy about it. I’ve just been blocking the members but it’s happening every day and they’re buying and killing almost ALL my lions on the market. I do also price kind of low (80-100) because historically they haven’t been bought otherwise…. Has the market changed since then? Should I be pricing higher now? Thanks!! 0 players like this post! Hello! I think it has to do with the July event, many people are buying lions to portal them. Perhaps wait until next month and see if it keeps up? Otherwise I suggest raising your prices 1 player likes this post! Like? |

Oh I see! I haven’t really looked at the event this month, that makes sense! I might hold off on putting on the market then thanks! 0 players like this post! Like? |

i've personally been buying a lot of cheap adols to raise and chase (i've seen a few chase for rewards clans popping up recently) once a lion is sold people can do whatever they want with it, which means a lot of them will be foddered unless they're special and clean/mutated. i'd suggest listing them for offers or over 150sb 0 players like this post! As a person who buys and kills lions, with a friend who does exactly the same. Gorilla Enclave for monkey teeth is probably one of the reasons I do it. As previous comments, celestial portal gives rewards if you do so. Even short gens, I do it for karma as well. I buy cheaper lions at times, if its all applicator, at times I may kill it or send it to portal (if july month) because if I do like it, I can always recreate it to the exact T if i put the effort to buy all the applicators. Versus if its all BO, I can't just recreate it as easily. I'm majority of a BO collector, since BO markings can have a certain value if its rare in a specific slot versus applicator markings can be bought applied, copying other kings can be done. I understand RL/C and crunchies, overbred and spreading BO markings and clones exist but they have better value to keep versus a g2 cub with all applicator appearance. So sometimes in those cases if a cub is thusly marked with applicator marks over BO ext that is why they are snatched up, especially at the price your selling them for and used for fodder be it whichever various way. - p.s this deadass sounds like a hate to applicator mark kings, but my friend owns a 20m colorbomb with legit marking apps, she ya yeets cubs too. 1 player likes this post! Guilty as charged, I do yeet cubs and my king is a 20M CB with all but 1 mark that's possible by applicators, I still am more inclined to fodder a applicator heavy cub than one with BO aspects for the same reasons my friend gives. There have been instances where I've bought a cub to fodder and absolutely adored them so held onto them in the end, though the deciding factor for me there is what generation they are as I'm a avid short gen breeder. As my friend above has already stated the reasons we both do it and the possible reason why it happens to the ones your selling, I'd suggest upping their price where their value owes to it, that'd hopefully lessen the amount it happens. Typically fodder cubs can range from 5sb - 100sb maybe more depending if whatever aspect they have is less common. Personally the biggest bonus for me currently when foddering cubs is the energy rewards and exp, I burn through energy like it's a life line and every level gained equals more stats to my king. 0 players like this post! Yeah I do GE cub sacrifices too, I typically purchase fodder only cubs for it and also to avoid the GE that’s why I hold onto them till they’re adolescent, and any ugly or dirty babies I’ll put up for fodder for 20sb. Honestly I don’t know much about BO markings and all that, been on lioden for a couple years and it still confuses me lol I just breed what I think is pretty , clean, short gen . I have some special base projects but of course rarely get bases from them. Get slightly attached to the pretty ones but I can’t keep them all so that’s why I sell them. Totally understand people can do what they want when they buy a cub, it’s just my personal preference in the game to try to avoid kills as much as I can! I’ll try raising the price a bit as well again! 1 player likes this post! Like? |

July stone as mentioned, but also guilty as charged. I do mass fodder as 5 - 15 SB a piece, but I'll buy and kill any muties listed under 900 SB / 1 GB. My personal reason is that lowering supply increases demand, and makes them worth more. I've always priced my gals at at least 500 SB if i really want them to survive, no matter if they're valuable or not. Coz someone will value them, or else i chase them. I've had lions purchased for GB get killed the next day. Can't really stop it. 0 players like this post! Like? |
