ROLEPLAY PROMPT: You follow the delicious aroma of a fresh kill, leaping over small streams and weaving your way through knots of vines and vegetation. As you peer through a particularly large clump of greenery, you notice a large lioness with her muzzle lowered, tearing into a carcass of some sort. She glances up at you and beckons for you to come closer. "Hello," she says in a cheerful voice. "I'm Amora. Would you like to join my pride?" You realise that she hold no ill intentions, so you crawl closer. As you near, the first thing that you notice about her is her giant stature, easily surpassing that of most adult male lions. The second, her impressive primal fangs. You consider what she has asked, weighing the pros and cons of her request. You stare deeper into her playful pink eyes, and a sense of content fills you. She grins at you. "I'll be waiting near the waterfall for the next week. Gather any lions you think might wish to join, and we can discuss business then. Oh, and you can keep the zebra." With a blink of an eye, she bounds off, leaving you with the carcass. Oh! It was a zebra! You chuckle to yourself, and submit to the growls of your stomach... INFORMATION AND RULES Hey y'all, this is my first group RP thingo ever. I'm kind of new to this game so please let me know if I'm doing anything wrong. So basically, this is a RELATIVELY realistic lion pride. By this I mean male lions can serve as hunters and brood mothers, females can be on patrol and can lead the pride, and will probably do things that lions don't normally do because I know absolutely nothing about lions. Also, this pride derives from IceShard's pride (https://www.lioden.com/topic.php?id=304429518962). 1. Please be respectful to everyone. That means no shaming anyone/anyone's OC for being colored, white, LGBT+, disabled, neurodiverse, or anything else I might have missed. 2. This is ONLY on Lioden. I don't have/want/need Discord. 3. Please don't plan out a structure for the RP. However, if you want lion/lioness to be mated with another, please check with that person first. 4. Mutations are allowed, just not Jaglions/Leopons/Tigons. 5. Please no magical powers. That's all I can really think of now. I'm going to create an OOC and a place to post a character sheet, and in one week we can start. If I've missed anything please let me know! The dark lioness had fallen asleep in a quiet corner of the cave. She’d familiarized herself with the whole den and so she would know where to go and what to avoid. At some point, she heard the others waking and felt their paw steps through the stone. Obsidian sat up and swiveled her ears and picked up small bits of their conversation. It seemed like they were wanting to go on a hunt. Getting to her paws, she padded towards their voices. Her steps were confident and she didn’t hit anything or stumble. She found most of the others gathered just outside the main entrance and walked up to them planning to go find Her and Cypress. “You don’t have to search for me.. I’m right here.” She told them, her head faced in there direction and her sightless eyes moving back and forth as she cataloged the sounds and smells around her. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Cassandra hummed in agreement, sniffing the ground. Besides the faint smell of putrid wildebeest, there was a small bachelor herd of boar nearby, that’s what she smelled. “Yep, boar nearby, 5 big males, judging by the smell” 0 players like this post! Like? |

She caught a rancid whiff of boar coming from downwind and her vision narrowed, singling out a young male who appeared to have broken his leg. She calculated every moment, one false move could jeopardize this entire hunt. “*He’s gonna put up a fight, be ready*” She whispered, stalking closer to the young male. Hafsa jumps into action behind Cassandra and goes for the boars throat, teeth ready to sink into its flesh. As she gets close the boar had turned around and before she could react properly it kicked her in the nose. Her nose was now cut and bleeding but she didn’t let that stop her and she latches onto the boars leg and trying to bring it to the ground for an easier kill. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Amora kept back, slunk low behind a large rock, watching the events play out. She saw that her pride was tiring, so she decided to get some action. With a running leap and a roar that rattled her bones, she jumped off the rock in which she had been hiding behind, landing on the massive male boar's back. She felt and heard a loud 'SNAP,' but didn't feel any pain. She clamped her teeth around the back of the boars neck, almost touching her muzzle to Cassandras. After several agonising seconds in this uncomfortable position, she felt the boars struggle slow and, finally, come to a stop. She slid off the boar, adrenaline rushing, and asked, "is everyone okay?" 0 players like this post! Like? |
