ROLEPLAY PROMPT: You follow the delicious aroma of a fresh kill, leaping over small streams and weaving your way through knots of vines and vegetation. As you peer through a particularly large clump of greenery, you notice a large lioness with her muzzle lowered, tearing into a carcass of some sort. She glances up at you and beckons for you to come closer. "Hello," she says in a cheerful voice. "I'm Amora. Would you like to join my pride?" You realise that she hold no ill intentions, so you crawl closer. As you near, the first thing that you notice about her is her giant stature, easily surpassing that of most adult male lions. The second, her impressive primal fangs. You consider what she has asked, weighing the pros and cons of her request. You stare deeper into her playful pink eyes, and a sense of content fills you. She grins at you. "I'll be waiting near the waterfall for the next week. Gather any lions you think might wish to join, and we can discuss business then. Oh, and you can keep the zebra." With a blink of an eye, she bounds off, leaving you with the carcass. Oh! It was a zebra! You chuckle to yourself, and submit to the growls of your stomach... INFORMATION AND RULES Hey y'all, this is my first group RP thingo ever. I'm kind of new to this game so please let me know if I'm doing anything wrong. So basically, this is a RELATIVELY realistic lion pride. By this I mean male lions can serve as hunters and brood mothers, females can be on patrol and can lead the pride, and will probably do things that lions don't normally do because I know absolutely nothing about lions. Also, this pride derives from IceShard's pride (https://www.lioden.com/topic.php?id=304429518962). 1. Please be respectful to everyone. That means no shaming anyone/anyone's OC for being colored, white, LGBT+, disabled, neurodiverse, or anything else I might have missed. 2. This is ONLY on Lioden. I don't have/want/need Discord. 3. Please don't plan out a structure for the RP. However, if you want lion/lioness to be mated with another, please check with that person first. 4. Mutations are allowed, just not Jaglions/Leopons/Tigons. 5. Please no magical powers. That's all I can really think of now. I'm going to create an OOC and a place to post a character sheet, and in one week we can start. If I've missed anything please let me know! Amora padded over to Cassandra and lay down next to her, giving her plenty of space but also letting her know that she was near. "It's okay to hurt. I've hurt every day since my Lumi passed, and it doesn't get any easier. Each passing day is like a dagger in my heart, and each cub or adolescent twists that dagger deeper and deeper. I don't know you, and I don't know what you are going through, but I'm here for you. You've heard the support that has been rallied around us - Hafsa and Ally and Obsidian. I'm sure that everyone else will be the same." She glanced at the unmoving lioness, then at the sky. "Well, it's starting to get a little late. Hafsa agreed with Amora, about both parts, with a nod though it probably went unseen. She felt sad by Amoras daughter and wished she knew how to comfort both of the grieving lionesses in front of her. โWe are here for you both, we may not be able to take away your pain but we are here to lean on. Cassandra followed with ease. Despite her ankle sprain, she was used to walking with injury, being a nomad and all. She said nothing, watching gerbils burrow as we walked past, and even a cobra slithering around. It didnโt seemed to notice usโฆ Cassandra hated snakes. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Hafsa follows Amora while trying her best to keep any big gusts of wind from hitting the wet lioness. She was glad the injury to Cassandras ankle wasnโt causing her obvious pain. She noted the snake that Cassandras eyes followed. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Amora turned her head, liking the teamwork that occurred. Hey, at least Cassandra was accepting the help, instead of pushing Hafsa away... progress! She slipped through the thick vegetation, ensuring that she could hear here pride stumbling along behind her at all times. After several minutes she reached the massive waterfall, and she knew that if she said anything she would have to shout to be hear over its rumble. "THERE'S A ROCKY PATH GOING UP! WE FOLLOW THAT PATH TO GET TO THE TOP OF THE WATERFALL, THEN OUR CAVE IS PRETTY MUCH RIGHT UP THERE!" (Me neither, Cassandra is literally an oversized house cat) Cassandra didnโt bother to say anything, watching the pretty waterfall. She hated water, but this wasโฆ tolerable. (I only know some from what Iโve seen in documentaries lol  )She looked up at the waterfall and took in the glory of it before following up behind Cassandra. (i only know from what i've seen in the lion king  )Amora leapt lithely up the algae-covered rocks. She let out a hiss as she trod on a sharp pebble, and paused to see how deep her wound was. Hm. Not too bad, but she'd have to be careful - it wouldn't do to get an infection. She arrived at a rocky outcrop, a jagged overhang that protruded from the face of the cliff. There was a short tunnel that snaked several metres into the face of the cliff, which then opened up to a fairly large cave-like structure. Natural light filtered in through small holes both above and around them, and there were plenty of smaller areas that could be used for storage. It was also a fair bit quieter - perhaps the distance from the waterfall and the layers of rock quieted the rumble of the water. "It's a bit of a hike, but it's also very secure. There is only one other entrance, and that's even harder to get into, there are plenty of play-areas for our young, and it's quite obscure - you can't see the path leading here unless you knoe where to look, and this overhang is rpetty much invisible form the top and bottom." 0 players like this post!
