ROLEPLAY PROMPT: You follow the delicious aroma of a fresh kill, leaping over small streams and weaving your way through knots of vines and vegetation. As you peer through a particularly large clump of greenery, you notice a large lioness with her muzzle lowered, tearing into a carcass of some sort. She glances up at you and beckons for you to come closer. "Hello," she says in a cheerful voice. "I'm Amora. Would you like to join my pride?" You realise that she hold no ill intentions, so you crawl closer. As you near, the first thing that you notice about her is her giant stature, easily surpassing that of most adult male lions. The second, her impressive primal fangs. You consider what she has asked, weighing the pros and cons of her request. You stare deeper into her playful pink eyes, and a sense of content fills you. She grins at you. "I'll be waiting near the waterfall for the next week. Gather any lions you think might wish to join, and we can discuss business then. Oh, and you can keep the zebra." With a blink of an eye, she bounds off, leaving you with the carcass. Oh! It was a zebra! You chuckle to yourself, and submit to the growls of your stomach... INFORMATION AND RULES Hey y'all, this is my first group RP thingo ever. I'm kind of new to this game so please let me know if I'm doing anything wrong. So basically, this is a RELATIVELY realistic lion pride. By this I mean male lions can serve as hunters and brood mothers, females can be on patrol and can lead the pride, and will probably do things that lions don't normally do because I know absolutely nothing about lions. Also, this pride derives from IceShard's pride (https://www.lioden.com/topic.php?id=304429518962). 1. Please be respectful to everyone. That means no shaming anyone/anyone's OC for being colored, white, LGBT+, disabled, neurodiverse, or anything else I might have missed. 2. This is ONLY on Lioden. I don't have/want/need Discord. 3. Please don't plan out a structure for the RP. However, if you want lion/lioness to be mated with another, please check with that person first. 4. Mutations are allowed, just not Jaglions/Leopons/Tigons. 5. Please no magical powers. That's all I can really think of now. I'm going to create an OOC and a place to post a character sheet, and in one week we can start. If I've missed anything please let me know! Cypress made his way to the waterfall, hoping that he wasn't too late to meet with the new pride. He found the remains of the boar and several sets of tracks. His stomach rumbled at the sight of the fresh kill, he hadn't eaten in some time. He couldn't help but crouch and take several ravenous bites from the boar carcass before he got back to the task at hand. He sniffed the lion tracks, taking in the scent and doing his best to track them. He followed them through the vegetation until he made it to the rocky path. He could smell their scent on the path, glad to find it was still very fresh, he knew had only missed them by a short time. He followed the path, clambering his way up the rocks. It wasn't easy for him, he was underweight and a bit worse for wear, but he managed to make his way to the top where the rocky outcrop was. He could hear voices now, his body became tense. He was nervous to meet these new lions, but he steeled himself and slowly made his way into the cave, his eyes slowly adjusting to the dimmer light. He walked low to the ground and slow, clearly very nervous and unsure. He was a scraggly, scrawny young male that clearly would benefit from being in a pride. 1 player likes this post! Like? |

Altar turned back and caught sight of the new lion, his ears perking up. Altar purred, this male reminded him of himself in his youth, from his demeanour alone. "Hey! Cypress looked at the older male, feeling himself put a bit at ease thanks to his friendly disposition. "My name is Cypress..." He said in a small voice, stepping into the cave a bit further. Amora padded over to the young male. "Hey, I'm Amora. I'm the pride leader - this is our home! Don't worry, you didn't miss out on much - we've pretty much only done introductions. As I said before, I'm Amora, that's Ally, and in the back we have Cassandra and Hafsa. There's also Obsidian, and I think there might be some other's who still haven't arrived. Oh! Cypress listened to her speak, nodding his head to show he understood. "Thank you, nice to meet you." He said, trying to take it all in. He looked at each lion as they were introduced and committed their names to memory. He then looked around the cave, feeling a sense of relief wash over him as he realized that for the first time in over a year, he had a home. As Amora, Ally, and the new male, Cypress, talked Hafsa walked around the have. Sniffing out every inch and looking at the storage spots. She wanted to take everything in. After she was done she did a long stretch and later on her side, flicking her tail. Obsidian hadn’t said much while the others had conversed. But she had eaten some of the boar before following the group up ti the den. When they reached the rocky path, she took extra care to note where she heard their footsteps fall and place her feet there too. Being so close to the waterfall was deafening but she got past it and kept following them. They had eventually reached the cave that was their new home and felt the largeness of it. The air flowed easily and the waterfall was now just a quiet roar. She slowly explored the outer edges and then the middle. She didn’t want to trip over anything on the cool stone floor. When she heard the new lion approach turned her head his way and dipped it respectfully before continuing to explore. 0 players like this post! Like? |
