COMBO PIEBALDS / PATCHES
Just before I get into this I do believe there is another suggestion similar to this, but due to the forum not being advertised for supports and the concept not being in too much detail I decided to make this one ( that suggestion can be found Here!



So piebalds, an interesting mutation that unfortunately has tanked in interest, while we do have hundreds of piebald and patches lovers out there, many users have lost interest due to the value that has been lost. And don’t get me started on mods! While it’s a trend to put new ones out on Black Friday it really does tank it’s value. I mean have you seen the prices of mods nowadays! This will ALSO bring value to g2-g5 lions, as there is no G1s!

Anyways, this suggestion in the simple term is to suggest That MoD piebalds are no longer added to the game FROM HERE ON., instead new piebalds are added they are combos and existing pies/ patches are factors i mean, I think we have enough piebalds as is! But I won’t suggest limits.

I understand this will bring up the “but my king can’t be a G1 pie!” And although I see the argument, it’s no different then a ferus, felis or any other kind of mutations. There are still plenty to choose from for G1 kings. I believe this will help bring interest back into piebalds are more desire for piebalds due to being combos or combo factors. It also gives them another use which is always nice. Also gives players something to work towards!

Just to be clear, I am suggesting any new released pies/patches are combos, and the existing pie/patches become factors for these combos.

Why the hell would we want a combo pie?
By releasing any new pies as combos for existing pies you bring value and desire back to those pies to breed combos. Which overall might help with the value of those pies and will help out that part of the market. Not only does it attract more attention, it adds some variety! Do we need all 50+ pies to be exactly the same?

How would it work
Just like combo bases, you will have a combo outcome base, and a few factors. (Even 1:1 in this case if wanted) these factors when bred together have a slim chance of producing the mutated piebald. As well as a chance to produce either pie.

what about pie x patch
Now this is something I don’t care for too much. It will come with extra work and it’s up to the devs if they want to introduce lions like this, with part piebald and part patch. But I’d like to say to stick to piebald with piebald and patch with patch. Atleast to see how it plays out,

will it be a mix of both patches?
It doesn’t have to be no. The pies do not need to be made new to match this feature, meaning any future pie planned can work with this. this feature is NOT merging muts together, it is producing a new mut. Just like combo bases, they aren’t merging the base together, they are creating a new base.

okay but like, why no mods ?
As it’s clear to all, we have HEAPS of MoDS ingame. And these mods all sit at quite a low value currently, by adding this feature these mod prices could potentially go up, meaning you aren’t spending 200 dollars on a mod that sells for 20GB.

WAIT, what about my king?
If you were to king one of these combos they would not pass down naturally INSTEAD they will almost become a factor for their combo, meaning if you breed your combo king to one of the factors, you have that same slim chance at the combo passing.
