Tamriel Pride Lore

The Queen of the Tamriel pride is named Elsweyr. Elsweyr has lived many past lives. This life she has earned the ‘Angelic’ title for defeating the ‘God Devouring Serpent’. During the fearsome battle, she lost her eyesight. This has been one of her hardest challenges she has had to face. She was forced to relearn how to feel the grass beneath her paws, and take it literally one step at a time.

On a brisk summer evening, Elsweyr was kissed by the wind and a whisper flowed through her fuzzy ears. It asked her to look in on herself and continue to devote herself to protecting cubs that were otherwise different than she was. She was offered a second life if she accepted and completed this task.

She spent years devoting herself to saving cubs who were unwanted by their mothers. Elsweyr completed her quest sent by the gods themself and she was bestowed “the kiss of reincarnation” by a demigod. This is why she is able to be reincarnated into different mutations. She is her same self, but she looks different to others. The mutation that she is holds, represents her devotion to protecting cubs who were sent away for their different appearance.

When Elsweyr was remade she told herself she would continue to wear a veil to represent the loss of her eyes in her past life. It was important to Elsweyr to maintain her loss of vision so that she could continue to be a great warrior without relying on sight.
