Hello everyone! I’m a sucker for the wardrobe, and because we have all been in design block hell (myself included!) I would like to aid y’all in decor designs!
Before we even get started, I remind you there is a decor categories page on the wiki where you can see EVERY decor in game (custom decor excluded obviously!) that you should check out so you can play with designs/decors/backgrounds (also a backgrounds page on the wiki!)
This will be broken down into :
-Themes
-Mutations
-Cohesiveness
Themes!
So, we all want to have a nice theme for our king or very special lion, right? My king for this account doesn’t have a themed look, so let’s glance over at my main accounts king, Anielski!
So, this is his decor!
Very pretty, right?
The theme I went with for him was biblically accurate angel (certainly not something you’ll see every day!) but then again you can theme your king or lion around ANYTHING!
You can give them a forest theme, ethereal/angelic theme, fiery/blazing theme, anything! Characters included.
I also recommend matching your kings name to his decor or look! My main accounts king is Anielski, so it’s a bit out of place! The origin of his name is that it means “angelic” in Polish!
Theme ideas for everyone!
-Character from your fav movie/tv show/book/piece of media
-Forest
-Bugs!
-Fiery
-Demonic
-Nightmare
-Your favorite color!
-Winter/summer/fall/spring
-An animal
-Oceans/lakes
-Space (a very popular one!)
Mutations!
We all love mutations, right? And yes, there are custom decors for your favorite mutated lions, if you play around just right, sometimes the decor item will fit nicely onto the lion! (Or a little glitched.. we just don’t look at it-)
Fun fact for you, most set of wing decors will fit onto most lions! This isn’t to say they’ll fit EVERY lion perfectly, but they will look decently right on your tigon or ferus!
Here is an example of my tigon, Mandraynka! She doesn’t usually have wings, but she got some for a minute as an example of how wing decors can kind of fit on a cub tigon!
Cohesiveness!
Cohesiveness? What’s that? Cohesiveness basically means how well it forms together!
Again, going back to Anielski, his decor looks at little random, but it is pretty cohesive, it follows one pattern, and doesn’t have a bunch of things just slapped on there!
Let’s take my lioness Incognito for example! Usually she has no decor, but for the purpose of this, I slapped a few random ones on her!
It all looks a little… off? There’s no theme, it just doesn’t fit! Not that there’s anything wrong with that, if it’s your style go for it! But it’s not for me. Something I also feel I should mention is backgrounds!
Backgrounds will either make or break your lions decor! The background is the foundation. Pick your background and put the decor on top.
Think of it kind of like cake. The background is the cake itself, the decor is the frosting or actual cake “decor” on top! You can’t have just have the frosting and decor! You need a base.
Please tell me if I should add anything, or if you have ideas! I wrote this at 3 am my time cause I wanted something to do lol
