Hi guys I was wondering if someone could help answer this question about how markings pass

I have a queen I'd like to put jelly ardeida on, however it's breed only so will need to breed it for my next heir

I was thinking of putting jelly valiant on her as a placeholder but was wondering how that would affect the passing of ardeida passing onto cubs from the mum since it's 50-50 of the parent passing the mark

if my current queen doesn't have the mark does that open up the chance of having ardeida passing as there isn't a competing mark or does it just increase the chance of having no marking?
