Aside from monthly event news posts and the 2nd Friday of each month being focused on art/coding updates, all other Fridays are centered around the community!

Security Reminder

Recently, it has come to our attention that a small number of accounts were taken over by a bad actor, who did so by gaining access to the email addresses associated with the affected accounts. We have looked into the situation and have not found any security breaches on our end, and believe that the email accounts themselves were compromised in this situation, leading to the individual being able to request login information for the affected accounts.

We recommend all players ensure that their email accounts are secure, and that you are the only individual who has access to them. For your security, we suggest routinely updating the passwords on your email accounts, and avoid reusing passwords across emails or websites.

Please rest assured that this is not a widespread problem, but we wish to keep you informed in the interest of transparency, and helping ensure your online safety.

Reminder: Misuse of the Trading Center

This rule permanently exists within our Code of Conduct (under 1.22 a), and we have reminded everyone of this rule in the past; however, as we have been seeing an increase of Trading Center misuse recently, we'd like to give another reminder within this news post.

It is considered to be misuse of the Trading Center to create trades in order to advertise your ongoing forum sales, your ongoing raffles, or offer/solicit artwork-related services (commissions, CSS/HTML layouts, etc.), reverse breeding services, studding services, etc. These types of advertisements belong in the correct chat rooms and/or forum categories in Chatter, and must stay out of the Trading Center.

Placeholder trades of any type are also not permitted in the Trading Center. If you are trying to purchase assets from other players, please put your offer within your trade directly, e.g. if you are trying to buy a background for 5 GB, put 5 GB as your offer and say what you are looking for within the trade's title or description. It is misuse of the Trading Center to put up a trade saying "I'm seeking X item, please PM me if you have one!" and your offer for said item is not actually in the trade. The same goes for attempting to sell assets. If you have something to sell, it needs to be placed directly within your trade. For example, you cannot put an item up for sale in place of a lion. If the lion cannot be put up for trade due to its age, nursing status, etc., please wait for it to be eligible to be traded, or try to sell it within Sales Chat or the forums instead. You also cannot put a nursing lioness within a trade if you intend to only sell one of her cubs and keep the rest—everything in a trade must be for sale.

In addition to this, if you are trying to buy or sell something that cannot be tangibly placed within a trade (monthly event currency, Monkey Teeth, etc.), then please do not create a trade and instead use the appropriate Stockpile forums to advertise your sales or searches. This applies to Jaglion breeding boosts, as well as Axion Cores, hybrid heats, and so on.

Placeholder trades or trades that are advertising/seeking services that cannot be exchanged within the Trading Center are not and have never been allowed on Lioden, so please keep this in mind when creating trades or perusing the Trading Center!

Art Bug Fixes

* Due to feedback, we have adjusted the Celestial Speckles marking on Tigons to be more visible and richer in tiny specks
* Due to feedback, we have adjusted the Black Ear Rims and Onyx Ear Rims markings for Cubs - they were missing this marking intentionally at first, but now they show up slightly
* Fixed Dusky and Pale skins being too bright and saturated on Jaglions
* Fixed Goridhe Nyala showing as Goridhe Okapi for Jaglion Male
* Fixed Ankh base not having eye patterns on Jaglions
* Fixed Jacana base lines being too sharp on Jaglions
* Fixed Sunrise and Sunset mane colours not showing up on Ferus Male
* Fixed Noctis Blemish having the wrong file uploaded for Adult Female Kind pose den portraits
* ONCE AGAIN fixed Draconid eyes on Adult Female portraits (mutations included, e.g. Dorsal Fur)
* Fixed Pride Furboots decors not working on males
* Fixed Pride Feather Neck [Green and Blue] decor not showing up for any lion due to a typo
* Fixed Victor Crown not working on males
* Fixed clipping on Goat Horns decors for Adult Female Good pose
* Fixed Angsty Facemasks having the wrong shade of colour for Adult Female Evil pose
* Fixed Mushroom base showing the wrong file for Tailless Male
* Fixed Beet base not showing for Mane Succubus
* NOT An Art Bug: Piebald (Cracked) for Adult Female - it does not have a double mouth, the whisker is just covering the corner right where the edge cuts off, making it an illusion only. It has the same mouth as all other piebalds and default lineart, just brighter.
* Predicted by tomorrow to have 95% markings done for Jaglions (excluding mane markings)
* Remember to clear your cache to see the latest version of files!

Additions

* In addition to logging all new marking information (marking, slot, opacity), using a Total Shuffle will now also log your lion's previous markings
* When retiring your king, their previous appearance and the appearance of your chosen heir (if applicable) will be logged
