Hi! I’m new (about for a few weeks) and I’ve seen posts about breeding and breeding items. I’m just so confused so I’d like to ask a few questions:

#1. How can you get breeding items and why are they so expensive?!

#2. Does the fertility percentage increase the odds of mutations and quantity of cubs produced?

#3. Any cheap or good breeding items, or plain tips on breeding im so lost

here is a complete breeding item guide !

1. some come from oasis, some come from site games, some come from yearly events. the ones that come from events like buffalo scrotums especially get very expensive because there's no way to acquire them for many months, so people who got them when they were available can charge what they want for them. these are available this month !

2. quantity of cubs is not affected, but if your lioness has exactly 1% this is a small boost to your chances of a mutation

3. generally people do not spend breeding items on most lions. hybrids, rare mane amps like noble and succubus, and DU (double uterus) are the ones breeding items are used on most often. some people have breeding projects trying to recreate specific raffle lionesses or the perfect heir, and breeding items are used then as well. but your average lion is a bit of a waste unless you really love them and they are very valuable to you. sometimes lions you catch from explore come with CRB already applied which gives a higher mutation chance !

tips i stick with:
- IBF (instant cub delivery) is unnecessary unless you really want an additional heat on your lionesses (they have 7 heats in their lifetime, or 8 if you use the feather on every heat)
- yohimbe barks are generally only used in february when they're available, but with jaglions having just released people have been desperate to get them so jag heats are being offered 'barked' (just instant heats with no cooldowns), hence the exorbitant prices
- when breeding a hybrid, the only item that helps is buffalo scrotum, which guarantees 3 cubs (there is also grain of paradise which guarantees 2, if you can't afford a buffy). first generation hybrids have a set 10% pass rate and all others 5%. no breeding item will increase your odds of that hybrid making a hybrid cub

i think the linked thread has a lot of valuable information but i am happy to answer questions to the best of my knowledge if you have any !

i really don't know, oof. sometimes i get 3 in the same day and sometimes i go 2 weeks without finding any crb'ed chased in explore.

the cheapest hyena meat in branches at the moment is 1000, which is actually way cheaper than i expected. you can buy one here but keep in mind 1% fertility is the smallest mutation boost of them all. the cheapest way to breed mutations, if there's some you like in particular and they pass, is to breed lionesses that are already mutated. this is still not guaranteed but there's a higher chance there than breeding a non-mutie lioness for much less cost. a lot of the common mutations you are likely to get trying to breed mutations (like og teeth, foldies, most maned lionesses) sell for essentially nothing. so if there's something in particular you are chasing, it might end up much cheaper just to save up and buy it than spend money on breeding items.

Quick question: how rare are the odds of the crb already used on the Ncl’s? Also how expensive are the hyena meat, because I heard that they give 1% fertility, right?
