Lakeworth Palace is a secret district located in a distant area surrounded by thick and vast mountain tops and colourful meadows. Lakeworth Palace is where lions go to heal and become one with the lands they call home, whether they be murders, rulers or servants, mothers or fathers. Lakeworth Palace is where lions go to connect and learn forgiveness and peace once more. Lakeworth is found through days of hard labour through extensive trails throughout different terrains, by following the trail and symbols drawn leading you to your destination you will be met with a mountain top, where you can finally rest at peace. Looking straight ahead is only a long steep ride down to the beginning of the mountain. Unbeknownst to you, the entrance to Lakeworth is right ahead of you. Youve just got to come across the guider Afrisí, the Leopon. She lives hidden in the mountain top, guiding the new found members to Lakeworth. PERM PRIDE DESC The tracks stretched out in front of you as far as you see, in the dead of night you squint your eyes trying incredibly hard to see. You find yourself around thick mountain strips and lonely grass swaying by itself in the gentle breeze, making a hymn as you trudge along the path. You shake your head, letting the cold air run through your fur and between your ears. You continue to look downwards, following the stone path. As your trail it with your tired sore eyes, that have been working tirelessly since dawn, you see light. You gasp. You wonder if you're hallucinating. "surely I'm seeing things..." You prop yourself up, ready to keep walking. "1, 2, 3.... 1, 2, 3" You say to yourself over and over again, trying to pass time, You listen to the nocturnal animals conversing with one another. Frogs, crickets, small rodents. You see fireflies racing one another, you get jealous of the fun they're having. As you continue walking, zoned out, you feel yourself start to go uphill. You zone back in, seeing the trail hit an end you collapse. "All that for nothing... Was I chasing a myth this whole time, was I running for nothing...." You start to think to yourself. In a pit of anger you kick around the closest rock to your paws, letting out the bottled up steam building up inside of you for the past several days. You calm, laying down.. finally, resting on the cold grass. Looking directly up at the sky, the moon perfectly centred between your eyes. Illuminating everything within its vicinity. You sigh, letting the wind embrace your presence. As you lay there you feel as if you have another pair of eyes staring at you. You swing your head back up, turning around frantically. You look directly behind you, looking into the eyes of this silhouette sitting behind you right before the hill starts. Her tail moving frantically, at least you think its a she. You couldn't figure out what it was however, a lion?, a leopard? both!? "Are you lost?" She asks. You jump up. You watch the mysterious figure walk up to you. Her coat seemed to be a soft cream with hints of a deep pink on her back. You finally answer her question, nodding you head. "Did I just find them?? Did I find the place?? Is this Lakewell ?? You start to wonder. "I'm Afrisí! Nice to meet you!" You shake your head, chuckling awkwardly. Afrisí takes a step back. "Have you been looking for Lakewell by chance?" She asks. Your eyes lighten up, "Yes!" You say, it being the first word you had said in quite a while. Afrisí laughs happily. "Welcome new traveller! Come, come!" She announces, running down the steep ditch. You feel the sky get brighter, you smile. Following her down. Finally, you think... I'm safe.. 1 player likes this post! Like? Edited on 08/08/24 @ 18:54:22 by ☆ R0V3R☆ (#417822) |

Lakeworths entrance is hidden under a large mountain top, entering the hidden magical portal will transport you to a seemingly never ending meadow, with other terrains located just in eyes reach. A glorious stone castle located directly in the centre. However as you take a look around you realise the large rock formations bordering up the world of Lakeworth. You wonder if there is ever an outside past Lakeworth but you decide not to question it. The land of Lakeworth is a lot more technologically evolved then most prides in the "real world" Showcasing more cottages and huts rather then dirt caves and dens, clothing and accessories, more advanced healthcare etc, proving a safe and comforting place for the residents of Lakeworth to reside for as long as they please. The several terrains surrounding Lakeworth castle are there to help contribute to the unique lions that make their way into the lands, each terrain playing a role to help the lions adapt and find a home similar to the land of their original pride or home. Kiradas Tundra Kirdas Tundra is a vast and beautiful grass field, showcasing small huts and cottages, usually quite distant from one other. Kiradas residents are known for their craftsmanship in many aspects, tailoring, embroidering, dressmaking etc. Kiradas is where a lot of parades and events are held as they have the flat land, and lots of it, to contribute. Sabirana Meadows Sabirana Meadows are known to have the shyest and quietest members of Lackworth reside, usually their jobs and overall hobbies consist of animal treatment and care, as well as their interest in agriculture, they usually centre themselves around food and nature. The Meadows usually contain the farms and crops that provide food for all of Lakeworth, most lions turning up to be farmers or gardeners. Zabi Desert Zabi Desert is where a lot more of the hotter weathered lions reside, usually living in eery sandstone huts for cool. Deserts dont usually attract much and you dont see many lions willingly travelling there unless they must. A lot of lions in Zuri usually are known for a weird mix of breweries and drinks, as well as poets and writers. Usually large sand pyramids containing scrolls and other forms of writing are found within them. Urasuni Snowy Mountains The Snowy Mountains is usually full of events and attractions for all of Lakeworth to go to, as well as that the mountains being common areas for hunters/huntress's to travel to for food as well as fish. But to the residents of Urasuni , they are usually known to be bakers or fishermen. Urasuni is a large trading area, holding a lot of yearly and monthly markets for all of Lakeworth to contribute to. Irin Glacier The Glaciers mainly remain uninhabited, usually being way too cold for your average lion to reside in. You get the rare lonely fishermen every now and again, Irin is mainly a fishing source, many travelling out to fish there every day and night. It is known to have better luck. However the Glaciers also act as a storage unit, as part of the Lakeworth religion to bury one in ice after their death there is large cemeteries located throughout the land. Which is a key factor that plays into the reasoning why many do not live there. As they dont want to be "in the constant presence of death" Lakeworth Mountain Lakeworth Mountain is the mountain range where the Lakeworth palace is centred. Directly in the middle of the ranging terrains it is a grassy and forest lush mountain range with a castle directly in the middle. The majority of the area is uninhabited, a lot more the larger generation of lions, or the ones who have occupied and/or lived in Lakeworth for quite some time live. As the social hierarchy allows them to 1 player likes this post! Like? Edited on 08/08/24 @ 18:46:37 by ☆ R0V3R☆ (#417822) |

The residents of Lakewell believe in the religion of Cryo, which is a religion that centres itself around ice and freezing of ones body and soul. It is centred around the belief in eternal preservation through the sacred process of freezing. Followers of Cryo, known as Cryonists, believe that the purest form of existence is achieved by suspending life in its most pristine state through the power of ice. This religion takes up all of Lakewell, and is taught through generations. Being a non-believer will get you booted for eternity. Cryonists believe that the effort of freezing cannot only rebirth you, but also wipe away your immorality. As Lakewell is for the forgotten and mistreated lions Cryo is taught to them very early on to help clear them of their wrongdoings and start a new life. However after the lion dies and moves on, they are quickly frozen in the glacier, as Cryonists belive that it will rebirth them into a new life of luxury. Ice is seen as the purest element in Lakewell. Ice is seen as an element through which souls can be preserved and purified, and even reborn. Once you enter Lakewell you will be transported to the Glaciers where you will start to process of clearing your body, soul and mind of your wrongdoings, where you will live directly in the Glacier for 3 Days. You must fend for yourself, hunting and gathering food, finding somewhere to sleep, finding warmth. You will be monitored closely by Lakewell guards the whole time. If you are to fail and die, the belief is you are not worthy and you will be left there to freeze. PRACTICES AND TRADITIONS Regular meditation sessions are held in cold environments to bring the mind closer to the divine stillness of ice. Cryonists often meditate on the mountain top, in the glaciers or during winter months to enhance their connection with their soul. The Solstice Festival is the most sacred time of the year for Cryonists, celebrated with ice sculptures, feasts, and the communal practice of mediation. The Winter Solstice is believed to be the moment when the veil between the physical world and the divine realm of ice is thinnest. Cubs that are born in Lakewell have various rituals they must go through as they grow up, to forever hold their peace, usually involving ice, such as the "Baptism of Ice", which is a ritual with the submersion in freezing water for about one minute, "The Communion of Snow" is preformed by eating a piece of sanctified ice, are performed to cleanse and renew the spirit if a child is to have broken a law of Lakewell. Cryonists are encouraged to make a pilgrimage to a sacred glacier known as the "Glacial Temple," believed to be the birthplace of the first frozen soul. Here, they seek guidance, perform rituals, and leave offerings of carved ice. . . . Sacred Text The central scripture of Cryonis, containing teachings, rituals, and the history of the faith. It is believed to have been written by the first Guardian of Ice after receiving divine revelations from the frozen spirits 1 player likes this post! Like?
