So, I'm fairly new, about a month and a half in? But I've finally decided on the breeding projects I want to go for and decided it'd be useful to me to start documenting it. I'm interested in feedback and thoughts from the community as well

So I want to have a den of divine base (and bonus if carrying divine mane) lions, my sire is a G1 divine base/divine mane Primal.

He had sired cubs before the mutation that while had some pretty babies, nothing hugely of note. I eventually got the intense gold eyes and hit 'em with the primal, adjusted a few markings and then offered refunded studding to see what kind of cubs he could do after that.
He's since produced an achromatic and a primal cub, and I'm far happier with the results. Now that said, he does not often like to pass down the divine base (2 out of 48 times to be exact, or ~2.18%), though the mane will often pass (27 out of 48 times, or ~56%).

So, onto the ladies.
I recently invested in getting a litany of divine base ladies or buying Curse of Divine and applying it to cats I really enjoyed and wanted to see in the program.
I am intending this line to be clean, so this also took a bit of time to check each one. Longer gens were noted on the lions, but not taken out of the program. Just a different variable to consider if pricing later I suppose (So far there's only been one I accidentally invested in that was actually dirty).

So the two cubs I've had that keep the divine base have been had with mothers who were not divine (only two lionesses who've given birth to Ark cubs have had the divine base, program just started a few days ago). Their bases were dark golden and birch. I do not yet know if that means anything, one long gen'd, one short.

Now, today one of the divine ladies surprised me. Divine Flamingo unaided had 4 cubs and one ended up being a Primal Male. Sick. None of them have the divine coat, but two did have the Korat. Not sure if I'll sex change the P.Male and keep him or what, yet.
So out of those four from a divine mom/divine dad combo, we got two Korat bases, an Albino base, and a Dikela base. Two got cotton candy manes, two got divine manes, so we did see some wins on that for the program, even if not the lengths I'm hoping for.

Okay, had two exciting updates to the project.
Yesterday:
The most expensive lioness I've acquired for this project is a Dwarfie named Nightfire (as per her original owner). I love her a lot, she's my first dwarf and very cute. I went ahead and used a lion and buffalo scrots on her, and BAMMO

Had his child with DivineProvidence , another lady for the project, and she really shocked me today!

The Cimmerian base coat + the whisper ends on the divine mane is so stinkin cute

No divine bases born either day, though I did slap a divine base on the cub w/ dwarfism bc I didn't care for the original gray.
