As the title says; what are you currently reading right now? Are you enjoying it so far? Just don't post any spoilers about the book you're reading, that's all I ask. I'm currently reading A Court of Wings and Ruin, and so far I'm enjoying it. I got back into reading November 2023 and basically went from like a few books to over 40 on my shelf now haha. Seems a lot of people in the last year have been getting back into it as well, which is nice to see. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I just finished reading The Martian and oh man it was so good. I'm excited to both watch the movie adaptation and read Project Hail Mary, which is by the same author. I think the last book I read before that was Howl's Moving Castle, and it was also so greatโbetter than the movie fr 1 player likes this post! Like? |

A Black Fox Running by Brian Carter. If you like xenofiction, but want something for an older audience, I highly recommend it. 1 player likes this post! Like? |

Electronic Dreams by Tom Lean. The book goes over the history of personal computing and how it came to be popular during the 80s. I am enjoying it enough to have sparked a new, strong interest in early computing, it seems. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 19/08/24 @ 14:03:52 by TheClassCalico (#88888) |

Finally reading Fahrenheit 451. Despite going to college for an English degree it was never on the list. Got it in a bundle with a bunch of Agatha Christie books as well. So far, it's very good and I definitely need more stuff to read at work. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Rereading Of Mice and Men because I think it's an excellent book. I also enjoy Steinbeck's writing style. Also working on Master and Margarita, it's a Russian fiction novel written during the Soviet era with a lot of commentary and allegories on religion and how it was handled during that time (the Soviet Union was unofficially atheist and ridiculed a lot of religions back then). Honestly I've been reading small parts of other books like The United States of Cryptids. It's like a documentary/history book on a lot of different cryptids. If you're a mythology buff I'd recommend. 0 players like this post! Like? |
