I've been playing Lioden for just over a month now and I really enjoy it! As a player I really like unlocking achievements, trying for new mutations, and trying for new bases. Something that I think could really add to this experience is something similar to the beetle book but for lion bases!

Just like the beetle book you would be able to submit lions (cubs, adolescents, or adults) to unlock their base in the book. Of course this would mean losing that lion from your pride. To curb this issue with hard to obtain special bases, I think that retiring a lion should also submit that base in the book. So kings and lionesses that players have worked hard to obtain don't have to be "sacrificed" just to obtain an entry. The same can be done for lions that are immortalized so players can keep their most prized lions and still have those special bases logged in the book!

I don't think there should be any rewards for filling/completing the book, I think it would make for a fun way to track what bases players have obtained. Additionally, it would be really interesting to expand on this concept and add collections for mutations, markings, eye colors, mane colors, mane types, and skin colors. Of course that is a lot to implement, but I love the concept of trying to "collect them all" and have a place to keep track of my progress.
