So we all know the items that make your lions immortal right?? ive been thinking of the same thing, BUT FOR BEETLES (spoiler alert: well, not really) anyways!! the item ive been thinking of is the cordyceps - cordiceps(????) fungus, its a type of fungus that turns insects (mostly ants) into zombies (trigger warning, it might be a bit disturbing to look up when its on insects) to not scare people ive decided that the fungi should not have any visible effect on the beetle
"But apophisenjoyer? Whats a cordyceps?" ill try to explain!!
A cordyceps is a type of fungi that mostly infects ants, turning them into zombies. The fungi spores will use the organs as a feeding spot, after around 3-4 weeks(?), the insect will die and the fungus spores are ready to infect more insects.

Now you might ask "but how will this item work?"
Well, glad you asked! ill try to explain it in an easy way and hopefully thats not too hard for coding

1. I was thinking of this item to be an october special, i havent really decided the price yet, but i was thinking of it to be 40(?) blood beetles (ill keep working on deciding the price, hopefully its not too expensive) the bio of the item should be "A type of fungi that turns your beetles into zombies... Spooky! Hopefully it doesn't turn you into one!"

2. How the item works: use this item on a beetle (NOT larvae it will not work) to do this. once you give the fungi to the beetle, a message should pop up
"Success...? You gave the weird fungi to your beetle, and it started acting very unusual.."
After you feed your beetle the cordyceps, you have 1 hour to undo it. your beetle can STILL battle but cannot breed (if female) after giving it the fungi - but ONLY for that hour, after that it will get removed from both beetle grounds and battling. i wasnt able to find info if the fungus eats the eggs of pregnant insects, so if you find out anything please tell me!! If you try to give it to a pregnant beetle there will be a message saying "Unsuccess! Your beetle refused to eat the fungus! Maybe it's full?"

EXTRA: the fungi will keep your beetle alive for 3 to 4 weeks (i forgot to add this dont jump me ) after the beetle dies, youll get this message in your rollover inbox: "Your beetle died after the fungi took over its body. Poor guy."
End of thread!! sorry if some parts dont make sense i wasn't really focused writing this thread

no support?? tell me why!!
