if when my lion gets old and I can retire him, I will take the heir, and I will borrow the coloring from the previous king. the shape of the mane/eyes or other will be from the heir or from the king? *Sorry for the unclear explanation*

Your King's new Heritage, Stats, Mutation (!) , and Personality will always be that of the Chosen Heir.

It is not possible to keep your current king's heritage, stats, personality, or mutation when retiring.

If you Choose to Keep your Current King's looks, all non-mutie aesthetic traits (Base, Eyes, Mane Type/Color, and all markings - everything standard that goes into the basic looks of the lion except mutation! ) will be kept. All decors equipped to the heir will lose 1 use, or disappear if they only had 1 use remaining, so many players pick a design but only choose to actually decorate after Kinging unless they don't mind everything loosing an extra use (things like Pose if the King is Lab test Frogged to appear female only have 1 use, so best to wait for things like that).
So, if you choose to keep your current king's looks, yes the shape of the mane/eyes will be kept, too!
It's not possible to mix these traits, you will be either choosing to keep all looks from the Current King or Chosen Heir.

Happy to clarify anything further as needed!
