The Chinese water deer, or water deer for simplification, is a tiny Asian deer native to areas around the Yangtze River valley in China and rivers in Korea. Rather than grow antlers like other deer, the water deer instead grows TUSKS that can exceed 2inches in length! While females do also have these "fangs", male's of course tend to grow longer. They also only grow 20inches tall at the shoulder and weight only 30lbs on average.
