hi all! im somewhat new to lioden (as in, have only been playing the game for a few months now) and im wanting to learn how this site works, but im not super sure where to begin. so im posting this here since i saw that i can post questions here presumably! OK so... the topic at hand is my king, Menacee. (his name is technically Orpheus but i dont have the gold beetles to do a name change rn. but i'll be calling him Orpheus from now on) SO im pretty happy with how he, but i want to figure out how the 'breeding system' on here works, if that makes sense. like what makes a king look desirable? what markings/ combo of markings/ colors are desireable? and any advice on how to make my king look more 'appealing' considering the markings he currently has. im very open to suggestions/ opinions since manually looking through all the markings to see how they look is not quite possible for me. I ask this bc 1. its fun to see others interpretations of what im after and 2. i want to improve my king's appearance while still keeping him looking like himself! im also doing this bc id like to start interacting with other users and doing breeding/ studding requests of my own, but id like my lion to be lookin his best aswell! Things to consider about my themeing/ aesthetic id like for my king: i like fire-y aesthetics! fire, heat, burning, smoke, all that! reds, oranges, yellows, creams, and colors that lend well to a 'burnt' and 'fire-y' looking lion! feel free to send me private messages about any advice youd want to give!! i love hearing feedback. this game is very fun, but its alot more complicated than the other games similar to it that ive played, so its a little bit of a learning curve! please let me know if theres any rules i need to keep in mind of, as i said, im new so i dont know a whole lot!   ty!!!!! 0 players like this post! So I’ve been on here since March and, from what I’ve learned so far: • People really love BO (breed only) markings; these are the markings that say “tier 2” and can only be passed down via parents thus making it harder to get and more valuable. This doesn’t really help with your current king but is good to know in the long run. There are also BO based and manes. • While not necessary, combo base factors are always a good option. For example, Deshret is one base that, when combined with Nefer or Wepwawet, lets people breed Ra. So anyone with a Ra project would be on the lookout for studs with those three based. There are other combo factors you can check out on the lioden wikis. • Asides from that, everything is pretty subjective. There are some popular studs that are nothing but BO traits. There are studs where the goal is to slap as many markings on them as possible while still looking like natural real life lions. There are “colorbombs” where people try to make their lions be as colorful as possible. There are studs where people try to only use greenish markings; studs with just a row of the same color in a variety of markings. Honestly, you should just look at markings in wardrobe, pick a theme you love, and see what applicators you can find. As for fire-y markings: October’s event will come out with some orange and red marking applicators like Blazing, Demonic, Bloodborne and Blood Moon. There are also fiery, red, and saffron that I believe are BO. i am sure there are more, these are just the ones I can think of :) 0 players like this post! Like? |
