I am wondering what the exact timeframe is for a newbie. When would it be when you are no longer considered a newbie on the site?

I still think 400ks are newbies when a chunk of them have been playing for 2 years 💀 Time perception has not caught up.

Seriously though, it's probably hard to say. A year sounds a bit much, but I've also seen players with very old accounts who don't appear to have the same game knowledge as someone with a 300k ID. No shade, just depends a lot on community engagement and play style I reckon.

I feel like I started getting the gist around 3 months in, but I had very little community interaction and did what I wanted. That was also 4 years ago lol.

There's no solid distinction. Just vibes.

Okay, I am just checking to see what the answer is for the site. I consider myself a newbie to the site. I am still learning new things daily.

If you've been on since May, you aren't a newbie any longer at least in my eyes. But it's all on how one perceives things too.

I've been here 11 years so in that aspect I'm a senior player. But I'm also learning new things, that doesn't make anyone a newbie.

I personally think at a year you can understand what to do/expect but may have questions about things still..

I know anyone can say this and say they are a newbie- but I know for example my account was made in 2016 and left in 2016.. Personally I wasn’t getting much help/ couldn’t understand what needed to be done, etc. so I left!

I only joined back not even a month ago- that being said I know nothing and am learning but have some really helpful people helping me understand now- so like I feel like anyone can SAY they are a new.. I would say trust your judgement over anything! 🫶

But overall I’d say probably a year your no longer a newbie but again that’s just my thoughts on it 😊
