Personally, i love the character that the male head has. And this would require redoing every base, marking, and custom decors that people have uploaded. Thats a lot of work.

The only thing that lowkey bothers me about the male Jags head is, that the eyes appear a little too close together. But maybe that's just me/artistic choice/or I just don't get the perspective. Female Jag and Adol Jag seem to have the eyes a little bit further away in their half profile.
The Pons Lineart shows its age, and would prefer it getting a slightly thicker lineart, to fit the current style.

I really like your art style in the mockup sketch you made. You have a great understanding of anatomy, and I love the expression you've chosen to give the jaglion.

That being said, I've clicked no support; partly because I don't agree with this criticism, and partly because of how the criticism is worded. The Lioden artists are human beings - and when we criticise another person's art, we have to make sure we're being respectful, productive and tactful. Saying "it looks like it is done by some average artist from furrafinity" and "this gives me the Sinister Valley effect" doesn't fit into this. I don't think you meant any disrespect with your wording, but I wanted to contribute to the discussion, because I know how frustrating it is to post a game suggestion and get a bunch of "no support" votes with no explanation.

I also agree with previous comments - changing the jaglion's head would require an insane amount of work for the artists, and I don't think it's necessary. I'd rather see the artists' work go towards new markings, bases, backgrounds, and the long-awaited male pose. If you personally don't like how the male jag's face looks, there are always things you could do to change it yourself, such as applying a custom decor or using a lab frog.

Fleance said everything I was gunna say after clicking no-support. There's also the issue of yes, you might not like it, but others probably do. So this would change something everyone else who's already bought/bred one paid for if they use labfrog / have a male.

I'm very fond of the Jaglion male, myself. Aside from affecting the personality of the Jaglion, there's a couple anatomical errors with the edit from this change. The lower jaw is sitting too far forward and the lower teeth would close over the upper lip, and the upper lip is too small. If it were that short between the nostril and the lip, there'd be no place for the teeth to be housed and the teeth aren't present in this angle / depth like they should be.

Like, I get not liking it, I do. But between the slightly funky eyes and completely changing its personality and affecting the structure of its face, I'll go with funky eyes. That's easy to fix with a custom decor if you're not fond of it.

There's also something to be said about how many custom decors this would break. :')
