I’ve been working with beetles for a while now, but I never seem to be able to consistently and nicely increase the stats of a pair’s larvae. For example, if I had: Female 5 STR 3 SPD 11 END Male 10 STR 1 SPD 1 END I always seem to end up with either the lower of the stats in all, or only one parent’s high stats. Never both high stats. Is it actually possible to get a larvae with like 30+ stats (due to inheriting the higher stat from both parents over a couple generations/different sets of high stats)? 1 player likes this post! In order to get higher stat larva, you need to train the parents' stats to be higher. Females might get stats from training, males get stats from gaining experience battling and leveling up. Once they have gained some stats, their larva will start being born wirh 2-3 stats more than before. So it is possible to get higher statted larva, BUT only from much higher statted parents. It is NOT possible to get a larva with stats higher than parents. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Alright, so they won’t inherit a grand total of stats higher than either parent’s, but if I continue training up generation after generation, in theory my larvae will continuously be 1 or 2 stats higher than the generation before? I wasn’t sure if there was a hard cap to how many stats a larvae could be born with in general and if it was worth continuing to train up my parent beetles/their offspring/so on, or if I should just accept that where they are now is probably as high as they’ll ever get anyways. 0 players like this post! Correct- each generation will slowly gain 2-3 stats over than previous and thus, train to have higher stats and in turn produce higher stats offspring and so forth. From what I know, there's no hard cap to the stats, but training beetles is difficult and slow so there arent very many high statters among them at all 0 players like this post! Like? |
