Appearance:
Nyx is a massive, imposing wolf with a thick, jet-black coat that seems to absorb the darkness around her. Her eyes are a striking pale silver, almost glowing in the dark, with an intense gaze that can unsettle even the bravest. She stands nearly chest-high to Sebastian, with powerful muscles rippling under her fur, making her both graceful and formidable. Her presence is often felt before she is seen, as the air seems to chill when she’s near.

Personality:
Nyx is fiercely loyal to Sebastian, having formed an unbreakable bond with him over the years. She is highly intelligent and perceptive, often understanding Sebastian’s moods and intentions without the need for words. While she is protective of Sebastian, she is also independent, often scouting the town or the surrounding woods on her own. To others, Nyx is a terrifying creature, her mere presence enough to keep most at bay. She’s wary of strangers and can be aggressive if she senses a threat, but she’s also incredibly disciplined, only attacking when commanded or when Sebastian is in danger.

Name: Theodis Adric

Age: 26

Species: Human - Dragon Rider

City: Aldrien, Cuthos (A city high in the mountains where the soldiers are trained. The soldiers are known as The Brotherhood of Shadows Cast)

Appearance: Theodis is tall, dark, and handsome. He has the fit, trained body of an elite soldier and a tall stature, standing around 6'2. His skin is a rich dark pigment, flecked with scars from his years of training and fighting. His hair is soot black, shaved up the sides and kept relatively short to maintain a neat appearance. His eyes resemble pools of rich, golden brown honey. He wears brown leather clothing like the rest of the dragon rider soldiers, designed to keep him warm while flying through the mountain air.

Personality: For as long as Theodis could remember, he has struggled to control his anger. He didn't know why, but at the smallest inconvenience, he would feel anger bubble and boil in his chest so intensely that he felt he had no choice but to let it out. He often lashed out at people, and as a child he got into trouble constantly. Years of training to be the soldier he is today has helped him learn to control his anger better, but he still has been known to fly off the handle. He is a very no nonsense man, his world revolves around his mission and his dragon, nothing else matters to him, and he will let nothing stand between him and his duty.

Abilities:
-Weapons expert: He has been training most of his life to be a soldier and has used most types of weapons. He has mastered certain ones including: Throwing knives, bows, crossbows (Which are used while riding). He is also proficient with a sword.
-Martial Arts
-Dragon Speak: All Dragon Rider soldiers learn the language of their dragons so they are able to communicate.

Name: Ithorris
Age: 20
Species: Frost Dragon
Appearance: All white with piercing blue eyes, long curved claws and horns. She is a large dragon, but still has plenty of growing to do as she is still young.
Personality: She is extremely loyal to Theo, he was the first face she saw when she broke free of her shell at birth. They have been together ever since, he has raised her and she thinks of him as her father. They often have conversations and they know everything about each other. Ithorris would gladly die to protect Theo.
Abilities: Frost Breath and fast healing, but not regenerative healing. She has her fair share of shares like Theo.
Weaknesses: Intense heat and fire, she is bred to withstand sub zero temperatures, so in a very hot environment, she overheats quickly.

Name: Ellisar Balfir

Age: 38 (Appears 22)

Species: Half Elf (HumanxElf) - Dragon Rider

Appearance: Ellisar has a small frame and stands around 5'8. He is not overly muscular, but he is fit as he spends a lot of time outside exploring and riding his dragon. He is a nomad of lower Cuthos, an expert of surviving off the land and living on the back of a dragon. He has light blonde hair and foggy blue-grey eyes, his cheeks are flecked with gentle freckles. He has short pointed elf ears which aren't as long as a full blooded elf's ears. He wears modest cotton and wool clothes with leather belts, boots, and gloves. He has various leather satchels and bags to hold his possessions which he will attach to his dragon when they move. He also has a heavy cloak for times when it rains or is cold.

Personality: He has a very calm demeanor and is in tune with nature. He gives off the confident, collected air of someone much older. He is slow to anger, easy to get along with, and compassionate toward all living (and sometimes undead) creatures. He avoids killing at all costs and uses it as a last resort, especially when it comes to animals. He likes people but doesn't spend much time with them, so he come's across as being very quiet, perhaps even shy.

Abilities: Due to being a half elf, he has some slight magical abilities.
-Creature Speak/Connection: He can hear the voices of creatures and communicate with them. (More explanation below)
-Slow aging, aging at around half the speed of a regular human.
-Misc minor magic (Which will come out in the story)

Weaknesses:
-His connection to creatures is actually his main weakness. His gift allows him not only to hear what creatures are thinking, but to feel what they are feeling as if he were in their body, whether it is good or bad. What makes this a weakness is that he doesn't know how to control his gift. He hears murmurs in his head constantly, and feels the pain of any suffering creature near him as small as a grasshopper being caught by a spider. He has become somewhat numb to it, but there are times when it overwhelms him. He has learned that the only way to fight it is through meditation, he has to actively focus on closing his mind to it all.

Name: Sonnuri

Age: 400+

Species: Forest Dragon

Appearance: Emerald green with beautiful insect-like wings and long, dominant horns. He is large, but not as large as Ithorris. His body has to be a bit smaller as it is designed to be able to weave through trees and foliage.

Personality: He has an old man personality, he is very grumpy and doesn’t tend to like people other than Ellisar as he has bonded with him over the years. Despite this, he has old wisdom and is very intelligent. He isn’t very patient and gets snappy, but he is typically all bark, no bite. Ellisar has been his bonded rider for 17 years now.

Abilities:
-Acid spitting: He can spit armor/bone melting acid with decent precision, it is very deadly.

Weaknesses:
-General elements, fire, ice, etc.

Name: Isolde Valen

Age: 300 years (appears 28)

Appearance:
Isolde is a striking woman with an ethereal beauty that mirrors her brother’s, yet there’s an icy edge to her that makes her seem almost otherworldly. She has long, platinum-blonde hair that falls in loose waves down her back, often styled in intricate braids or left cascading freely. Her eyes are a piercing ice-blue, cold and calculating, with a gaze that can unsettle even the most confident. Isolde is shorter than Sebastian, standing at 5’7”, with a slender, graceful build. Her complexion is pale, almost luminous, and her movements are fluid, almost like she’s gliding rather than walking.

Personality:
Isolde is intelligent, manipulative, and fiercely ambitious. Unlike her brother, she has fully embraced her vampiric nature, reveling in the power and immortality it grants her. She is cunning and ruthless, willing to do whatever it takes to achieve her goals, and she holds little regard for other’s lives. However, she is also charming and can be disarmingly charismatic when she chooses to be, able to wrap people around her finger with ease.

Abilities:
- Mind Manipulation: Isolde has a powerful ability to manipulate the minds of others, more so than most vampires. She can implant thoughts, erase memories, and control actions with relative ease, making her a dangerous adversary.
- Illusion Casting: She can create vivid, almost tangible illusions, deceiving the senses of others to hide her true intentions or to lead enemies into traps.
- Enhanced Agility: While all vampires possess enhanced physical abilities, Isolde is exceptionally agile and quick, able to move with a speed and grace that makes her nearly impossible to track in combat.

Weaknesses:
- Pride: Isolde’s confidence in her abilities and her superiority complex often lead her to underestimate others, particularly humans and those she deems weaker than herself.
- Sunlight and Silver: Like Sebastian, she is vulnerable to sunlight and silver, though she takes great care to avoid these weaknesses.

Name: Solaris
Age: 21
Species: Fairy
Personality: Solaris is a very childish fairy, he doesn't take anything very seriously and has few cares in the world. He enjoys playing tricks on people, and in typical fae fashion, his tricks can even dip onto the malicious side and he will still find some perverse enjoyment in it. He struggles to feel empathy or compassion towards others, but he is very good at faking it to gain the trust of others. He is his own number one priority, and under his silly, childish demeanor, lies a very powerful, even sinister fae that will do anything to benefit himself.
Abilities:
-Solaris is a Sunlight Fae, so most of his magic revolves around the power of the sun. He can wield it's power and cast spells related to it.
-Sleight of Hand: Being the trickster he is, he has nimble fingers and honed trickery skills.
Weaknesses:
-Darkness: His powers are drained immensely once he is put in the dark. He can pull some power from other light sources such as the moon and torch light, but not much.
